DESCRIPTION: We are going to look at box breathing for the next few weeks and we will do this twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. We have been talking about creating good habits, and now we are going to do this. With box breathing, we are only going to focus on breathing into the chest for the next week. This means that you will expand your chest as much as you can, without straining, and then exhale from your chest. We are going to do this with a count. We are going to breathe in for the count of four, hold for four, breath out for four, and hold for four. If you start to feel uncomfortable try to accept the feeling as it should pass. If it doesn&rsquo;t, go back to normal breathing. Try again once you feel better. Sometimes this is because you have fallen into the habit of breathing in a shallow manner and you are not used to having so much oxygen in your body.
