Most every hiring manager desires their candidates to be somewhat detail-oriented so it is important to remember that every small detail can leave a big impression with your interviewers. Before leaving this lecture on interview preparation, there are a few final tips to discuss. 1. Eat lightly Eat lightly before the interview and don&rsquo;t eat anything that will upset your stomach or give you bad breath. 2. Freshen up Brush your teeth and use mouthwash before the interview. At the very least, use a breath mint or spray to freshen your breath. 3. Turn off distractions If you are bringing cell phones, iPads, iPods, or anything else that could be distracting during the interview, with you, be sure to turn them off.
