DESCRIPTION: Practice overcoming objections. Write down at least five objections you are likely to encounter in your upcoming job interviews. Then, practice answering those objections. As we discussed, doing practice or mock interviews is one of the best means to prepare for your upcoming job interviews. For this exercise, develop a list of the objections you will most likely encounter. Use the sample job interview objections seen above to help you compile your list. Then, prepare at least two answers to how you will overcome each objection. The reason you should develop two answers, or positive spin points, for each objection is because you may not have fully overcome the objection on the first try. If this happens, it is important to have another angle in order to make it past that objection.
