DESCRIPTION: What is a teaching practicum?

As part of your TESOL course, you must complete a student teaching practicum consisting of 20 hours.
Your practicum is an opportunity for you to apply your knowledge and teaching skills in the classroom and acquire teaching techniques and professional attitudes from experienced teaching mentors.
You must do your practicum in an English language school or an Online ESL/EFL course. Your mentor or supervisor needs to fill out the practicum approval form for the course. You will not be able to receive your certificate if you do not complete your 20-hour practicum.
