Hi, and welcome back again. Okay, before we delve into our next fundamental, let's do a quick recap. We've got our game changing go, it's going to boot us out of our comfort zone. It's gonna have a direct impact on our career, then we have identified our natural leadership style. We have now familiarized ourselves with other leadership styles, and we understand how using various leadership styles in the workplace will be beneficial. Okay, got it.

Let's move on. Welcome to fundamental number three values leading with your core anchors. Ladies, I have a confession. This is my favorite fundamental. Why? Because this is the one where we get to shine.

Values are intrinsic that you can't see Then you can feel them. They are just who we are naturally. Everyone has must have values that just when they are present, you are unstoppable. As a coach, a couple of my must have values, our partnership in creativity. It's really important that my clients feel and know that this coaching relationship is a partnership, that we are working together toward their goals. Also, because every coaching relationship is different.

Creativity allows me to tailor my sessions to fit my client's needs. So when my values are present in my work, I'm empowered to push myself farther. I have a sense of value, and I'm just more excited and engaged. It's fun, because you're really standing out you're really shining and it's not so much that you're shining where You're just saying, hey, look at me. But you can you just able to do what you want to do. It's so empowering.

Head over to the resources section, and download the values list and select four to eight words that really jumped out at you. On the second sheet, I want you to define each of the values that you've selected. Now these values can be a combination of personal and professional, or one or the other. But it's important that whichever values that you have defining the they are really important for you. And also remember that was going to be true at the office is not necessarily going to be true at home. This step is important because it will help you understand what that value means specifically to you, because you're going to define it.

If you're still not sure, think about a situation at work. Work that didn't go well for you. For example, let's say one of your values is collaboration. And you're at your best when you can work with your team members and contribute ideas to the projects that you're working on. However, your new manager is not interested in hearing your ideas or suggestions. Your job now is to follow the instructions you've been given.

After a while, you may notice that work doesn't hold the same interest for you the way it used to. You may also notice that your attitude toward the work you once loved has changed dramatically. And on a personal note, you're feeling frustrated and you don't know why. Just can't put your finger on it. That frustration that you feeling that comes from your values being taken away in the workplace. Now for your class project, you have a couple of more questions and an assignment that will allow you to implement Your values back in the workplace.

As always, share your aha moments and tell us what values you're going to bring back into your life.
