Alright, as promised, we are digging into your strengths and your weaknesses in this video. So, with the weaknesses I want you to look at that list and you know so we're back here on the strengths and weaknesses page as you look at this list, how many of those weaknesses stem from your operating in lower level thinking? If you were to be able to exist or channel exist as or channel the version of you that existed before the distractions, trauma interference Would you be able to operate from the strengths column instead of the weaknesses how many of these weaknesses are based in the bullshit stories that you tell yourself? that narrative that self limiting belief that self doubt the self sabotage the lower level Thinking, now I'm willing to bet it's it's a few of them. And the rest are probably things that are down here, where you simply have not been aware that you're doing it wrong, or that you don't know how to do it properly.

In which case it's both a lack of information and a lack of quality, intentional reps. So the way that we get from here to here is focused, intense intent, repetitions, that it's the 10,000 hours, but it's not just show up ho hum do the reps expect to get good out? We have to be focused, we have to be intentional. We have to be dedicated. And you know, it's not enough to just randomly play the guitar, right? It's got to be dedicated practice with a purpose is to deep work as Cal Newport calls Okay, so as you look at your weaknesses, see if you can categorize them in terms of lower level thinking, lack of awareness or lack of repetitions.

Now you've got a clear blueprint on how you can bring those weaknesses up to a strength, or how you can shed or let go of those things that no longer serve you that are obviously holding you back. Okay, I promise you, if you do those things you will catapult miles ahead of you know in terms of progress in where you want to be and who you want to be in the next six to 12 months. Okay. On the strength side, we're going to do an exercise called four clean aces. Now, if you're following along in the slides, you're going to see the slide that says four clean aces and it has a little screen shot of Bruce Springsteen on Broadway, the Spotify version of this. And so, when Springsteen was on Broadway, he explains this magic trick of how he's done what he's done throughout his career.

And, you know, he says when he first got his record deal, he was like 23 or something. And he said, at that time, I had four clean aces. He was young, have ton of energy. Number two, he had 10 years of hardcore bar band experience. 10 years of experience and repetitions. Number three, he had a band that he could count on that he knew loved, trusted and the newest playing style.

And for he had a magic trick. He was a showman. He was a storyteller. Okay. Put all four of those things together. And that's how he became who he is and how he's done.

What he is done. Right. I want to know what are your four clean Acer's So go back to your list of five to 10 strengths. And this is exactly why I said I want you to have at least five or 10. So that you can look at this list of five or 10 strengths. And find your four clean aces, you can circle them on that previous page, or you can write him again here, whatever you want to do, use that list of five or 10 is coming to your bank.

And write it down up here. What are your four clean aces, youth work ethic? Team family, drive, I don't know, whatever it is for you write them down. They've got to be true to you. Now, we're going to hit pause and let you do that. And when you have these, you're going to unpause it and we'll be back to finish this.

Okay, so on pause, ready to go. The next question How are you utilizing these strengths, these aces, in your pursuits, in your business in your relationship in your life, right? How are you currently leveraging them? And then the next question is, what opportunities are you missing to leverage these strengths or these aces further? How can you make them more a part of what you do? How can you build your business or your pursuit around those strengths?

So that you can showcase those and use those to help propel you forward? So again, think about our example with Springsteen, what if he hadn't used youth or energy and his experience and his storytelling and his band to be able to create what he's created? Well, I'll tell you, he in the band broke up in like, the 90s. Right, so there was a stretch from like the late 80s through the year 2000, where he was solo and there was no band, and that was probably the driest dead spot of his career. During that span and where he wasn't with the band, he's well known as a great lyricist and a great storyteller. If he hadn't utilized that strength or that skill, he wouldn't be known for what he's known for.

He's also known for I mean, the dude's almost 70. And he still does three to four hour concerts where he's, you know, outperforming people half his age in terms of the energy that he brings. So he is still leveraging those strengths. And still, I mean, he's in his 70s, like, his most famous records are 3040 years old, and he's still enjoying a successful career. So think about your strengths, the things that make you unique, and the things that you can lean on to bring out the version of you that you want to be. Alright, so that's the four clean aces.
