All right, we're talking about higher and lower level thinking. But before we get into that, one more closing thought on the last video, the version of us the who you were, before the drama, before the trauma before the distractions and the interference, I told you who I was, I showed you that picture of me. I am empowering you to hold me accountable to being that version of me. If you see me posting or commenting, or if you ever catch me in real life, not acting like that version of me, call me out on it, call bullshit. In turn, I will do the same for you. If you can share with me who that version of you is, and how you want to move through the world.
I can now hold you accountable to being that version of you every single day. That's what we're here to do. Right? You hear people and we'll talk about this later, the power of accountability and the power of accountability groups. I'm here, you're here. That's what this is.
So I'm empowering you to do For me, you can empower me to do that for you as well. I know it's scary to step fully into who we are and who we can be. But that's the real work. That's the work that we're here to do. Right? You don't have to do it alone.
This is not a one time decision. Please understand that. It's a decision that we all have to make every single day, and sometimes multiple times a day, not sometimes almost every single day, multiple times a day. I know it's difficult, and that's why I think we need so many tools in our toolbox because not every time are we going to be able to get the thing that we need from a hammer or screwdriver. We need different tools, different skills or different assets for different situations in in life, right? It's complex, it's dynamic.
No two situations are ever the same. But I promise you the more you choose to play up to your strengths, the more you choose to play Up to that version of you, the one that was there before the distractions and interference. The more ingrained that choice becomes, right? It's a habit. It's a neurological wiring. And I'm getting ahead of myself with that.
In the next module. When we get into the human operating system, we're going to talk about how habits are nothing more than neurological wiring. But the more we choose that pathway, the more ingrained it becomes, and the easier it becomes to choose that pathway. The negative side of this is that the more we choose to play small, the more we choose to shrink and stay inside of our comfort zone, the more that pathway becomes ingrained, we are always in graining one of these pathways one of those neurological wiring it's one of those habits. So the choices, which one are you going to choose? Which choice which pathway Do you want to become permanent, playing small, or being that version of you that was there before the distractions in the room interference.
Alright, so that leads us perfectly into higher and lower level thinking. So in the workbook, we're going to be on this page, right, higher and lower level thinking. Now, before we get to what you're going to do with that one, this concept of higher and lower level thinking, really was something that I learned from this book. It's called power versus force. It's by David Hawkins. So if you're ever looking for another book recommendation, this is a tremendous book.
If you're following along in the slides, you're going to see a pretty colorful, almost ugly slide. That is an online image that I was able to find that basically looks a lot like this. So if you have this book, it's gonna be on page 90 of the book. And what we find on this page and what you'll see in the slide, is that certain words have a frequency a vibration, and I hear it when I say it, I know that's Whoo whoo. But we have all walked into a room or a situation or an environment and and we felt good vibes. Or we got a weird feeling we got weird vibes from from somebody or someplace right.
Nikola Tesla, not the car guy, the guy that the car was named after once said if you want to understand the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration. And when we think about our mental thought processes, we will get to this in the next section when we unwrap the human operating system, but feelings or emotions, all that mental headspace really stems from our physiological environment. neuroscience actually defines feelings as mental experiences of physiological states. So quite literally, whatever is going on. Around going on from here down, we're going on around us impacts what happens between our ears, some of that we can't control. But understanding that having an awareness of that helps us bring back control over what's going on here.
Right. And so just quickly, that's one of the reasons that I love things like breathing and cold exposure because it teaches us that hey, we can control that autonomic nervous nervous system, we can control what's going on with our physiology, and with our headspace. So we'll get into all that later. But for now, I say all that to sort of give you a little bit more belief in what we're going to get into here with this map of consciousness. And so, like I said, different words correspond to different calibrations of vibrations and frequency, and the magic number is 200. Anything below 200 is negative or less Lower level thinking.
And anything above 200 is going to be higher level thinking. So when you think about the words that you used to describe the you before the distraction before the interference, I know the words that I used were joy. And, you know, so joy just happens to be at level 550 on this one, right? So it's, it's actually third from the top, the top being 1000. And that is, you know, pure enlightenment, pure consciousness. All the way at the bottom.
We have evil misery, guilt, shame, blame, humiliation. Those are the words at the very bottom of this chart. And when you think about the distractions, the trauma, the interference, how much of those words show up hate, anger, desire, fear, grief, tragedy, in difference, these are all words that are vibrating below 200. And so the exercise that I have for you now is to go to this page in your work mode. And on the column that's labeled higher level thinking, I want you to write down all the words that come to your mind that describe you. When you are being that version of you, the version of you that you are here to bring further into existence, the one that you want to get out of the shadows and into the forefront.
Right, the version of you before the distractions and before the interference. All those words are going to go here, right, and if you need a word bank, use slides that colorful, almost ugly image. That's again, it's the same as this chart. So write down those words willingness, hopeful, helpful, meaningful, serene, blissful, whatever your words are, write them down. The key is that they have to be 100 True to you, they have to mean something to you. They can't just be words I told you to write down.
On the other side, the lower level thinking, I want you to write down all of the words that describe how you feel and the thoughts that you have. When you're operating in that lower level realm. guilt, shame, fear, desire, insecurity, boredom, whatever the words are, write those down, so that you can start to identify the feelings, the interference and the distractions that are hijacking you on a daily basis. Okay. So that's gonna be it for this video. You're gonna write those down on this page in your workbook, and then I'll catch you in the next video, we're going to talk about strengths and weaknesses.
