And welcome to the coach's brainy tapping into tonality module. So much of what we're doing in the coach's brain really ties into the tonality of the language that we use. So we'll be looking at open and closed IV inductions, storytelling and facilitating. So before we start any of that, this is one of the foundations of coaching and that is reviewing tonality patterns. So, your language the tonality of your language has significant influence on the meaning of your communication. It strongly affects how other people respond to your words.

If they pay attention, if they take action. If they just ignore it. Turn analogy is so important. It's also one of the most effective areas you can use to establish rapport. And then you can step up from there into hypnotic language and the transcend juice process where which we'll be learning as we go through the brain. So we're going to have a look at the different tonality patterns that are quite, quite important to understand for coaching.

So we have a question, statement, and command. And we're going to have a bit more of a closer look at all of these. So let's look at the questioning time to understand what I'm talking about. Questioning. Question 10 is good when we are actually asking a question. There's something that you also need to pay attention here, especially the women listening to this.

When we ask when we're communicating with our clients and we use a questioning tone when we're not actually asking a question. If we can ask it removes our authority while we're coaching if we use it now, women quite naturally have an awkward lilt into their voices. Which if we're not careful, make it sound like everything we say is a question. I've worked very hard to remove that questioning time from my own voice. So ladies, please be aware of it. Let's now have a look at statement.

A statement is good. We use it when we want to make a point in a conversation. When you use statement tonality, you will be heard as confident in what you're speaking about. very believable, very important for us as coaches that when we're sharing information, that we use these terms a lot. Let's get ourselves set up as the authority when we're working with our clients. Now, then, we have Command language, the command tone.

This is very important in our hypnotic language. And when we need to lead our client for commitment, which is easier to do when we are poor. So when our clients feel comfortable with us, it's where we drop out boys down a tone for the words that we want acted on. So you may have even heard me say this already in this moment. What I'm going to do next is actually give you some examples where I'll demonstrate this tone. And I want you to start thinking, where do I sit with this tonality?

Am I using it with conscious awareness in my current coaching work? Do I have the question in time? Am I very statement driven? Do I know how to drop my voice in command tone when I want something done now? Okay, here's a statement, and I'll use the different tones here. Have a good time now.

This is a questioning time. What it does, it leaves the option for the client to decide at the unconscious level. If they are going to have a good day now or not, they might choose not to. So you would have heard the last word rise up to get the question in time. Have a good day now. That's the question in tone.

And if we wanting to encourage our clients to have a good day, you don't want to leave it up to chance. Have a good day now. So that's quite neutral. There's no emotional charge around and it's Have a good day man. statement. It's kind of like there's no real option that's kinda like just it is what it is.

That's the statement time. Have a good De now. So you hear the last word in the sentence dropped down to a deeper sounding tone. Now I made that quite obvious in my example. But what it does hypnotically it supports the client to make the decision that they will but they are Have a good day now. Now, now is very much a action, do it now command.

And most people don't have conscious awareness that what you're actually doing is telling them now and using that command time. So it's important to keep this in mind when we do our hypnotic work and trance work, when we're doing timeline work, any of the processes where we want our clients to think for themselves ponder what's going on to accept your authority, or to actually unconsciously take action on what it is that you're talking about. So it really is important to be start listening to your language now. Be aware of it when you're talking to people. Be aware of how you're sounding with your clients. Even review your current clients results, are they taking action, maybe you need to strengthen your tonality when it comes to those decision points in coaching.
