And welcome back to the coach's brain MRI, the trends build and implement module. Hopefully you've listened to the trans experience module and experienced the feeling of being in trance yourself. So what we're going to do now is look at the trance induction process, how it works and what it means for your cooking. So the induction process usually involves a combination of suggestions, one or two more deepness. So that's something that helps a person get further into trends and one or more tests for depth of trance. So all the scripts for these are available for downloading as well.
Now the induction may be preceded by a test for such testability and to test for preferred representation style. Now, there are some inductions that are available out there that will need to be reworded. If the client turns out to be unable to visualize, for example, the quite often if you know your client has trouble with visual visualizing, you'll ask them to get a feel for the picture of what's going on. So you can adapt. And if you're not sure, who you need to do is ask somebody can you visualize easy? Like, if I get you to close your eyes?
Would you be able to see a picture of your house behind closed eyes? And they'll say yes, well, they'll say no, because here's the thing. There is no advantage to showing off with fancy complicated inductions. So if you use the simplest induction ever, you know what that will work. The client doesn't know Okay, how clever your induction is, your client wants results. Now, all you need to do is tell your clients to close their eyes, and then ask them to imagine they're in a favorite relaxing place.
And to tell them to imagine they is so relaxed that they cannot get their eyes to open. And if they're doing that job done all over in 30 seconds, you can go straight on to the induction, because what trans is it's belief. And if somebody believes that they can't go into trance, they will fight back to like you wouldn't believe. So inducing trance is actually very easy. Anyone can actually learn to hypnotize somebody and everyone can be hypnotized. So basically, all you have to do is to get the other person to physically relax, and this will open the door to being then being trans.
And then a few suggestions and to breathing and my People will actually go into trance pretty much immediately. Now they may be thinking that they are fully aware to what's going on, but they're actually in a trance. So this is usually indicated by changing the breathing pattern that I lead to be flickering the head magic slightly or their fingers may twitch or there may be other involuntary physical signs that will indicate when they're laying there or sitting there listening to your voice that they are indeed in trance. Now the level that we're working at here, and when working with a client, I would just call it a process won't even go into the whole thing. Oh, this is a hypnotic trance induction that I'm going to put you in. I'm going to take you to a closed process right now and help you feel really relaxed and we'll help you bits and feelings of XYZ dot people that work with you.
They're going to trust you to take them through the thing that works for them. So what we're going to be doing is having a look at the components of hypnotic scripts. But as we're only doing like a couple of modules on it, and talking about some hypnotic language, etc. Please don't go around calling yourself hypnotist. This is not a hypnotist training course. But you'll learn the skills the foundational skills that people who do hypnosis also have.
Alright, so if you want to pause the video and go and download the trance induction formula from think if ik you are more than welcome to otherwise, we're going to move into the trance induction formula. Now the first thing is the definition of the problem. So finding out what it is for the client, that they want to shift or change what they want to let go of. Generally in this space, we want to acknowledge the feelings. So for example on the one that I took you guys through the experience, most Those confidence, right? So we acknowledge that there were times where there was lacking in confidence, but we're always embedding in more confidence.
Now you have a standard induction document there that you can use, whether it's for guided visualizations, transcendence, inductions, the introduction is the same, the relaxing the breathing and getting people into that state of least resistance. So the aim of that is to get a person into a state of trance. So then we have a thing called pacing. Now, before we start going in there and going, Yeah, you can be more confident. We want to validate the problem. We want to acknowledge with our client, that yes, there's times where you don't want to take action where you do feel held back.
Now in the induction process that I did for you guys, I use the example of maybe not feeling 100 Think confident every time to use the new tools that you've learned, even though you know them or you have scripts. So you want to validate the problem, you want to empathize with the client. Yes, I've been there too. So this is about communication, building rapport and showing respect. Because if somebody feels dismissed around what's going on for them, you're going to create resistance to change in the process. Then we look at past successes, and we record them, we bring them up, we get our clients to experience the feeling of success.
We get them to create an image of what was happening for them at that time. To go back to a time where your success it could be that first time as a child where you tied your shoe laces or when you move from high school and you got your first score report need studied really hard and you got really good grades, however, success Looks to you, maybe your first promotion in your job, or in your old job, something like that, get them to recall it, see it, feel it. Maybe there's other people around them. So you can go into that and go, you know, maybe you're hearing and use maybe because you don't know what they're actually recalling. Maybe you can hear somebody congratulating you. Or maybe it's just the sound of your own voice.
However it is for you. embrace those feelings of success. So we don't want to shut it down by saying, and for the person around you, we don't want to deal in definite because we don't know what's happening to the person at the time. So anchoring the feeling, you know, it could be an identity thing like with success comes improvement of self esteem. That's quite unnatural. thing the more success you experience, the more confident you become right?
So start practicing a time those things in together. If you've never done it before, that's fine. Practice scripted out, this is why you have these these shades, actually physically write something out. So write one for confidence, write one for self esteem, you know, whatever it is that you think your clients need from you write them and have them prepared, that's fine, because the capabilities you can change. So maybe there was a time where you weren't feeling successful, but when you stop and look now, see that you've changed you step forward from that person. So this is where it's really good if you listen to the hypnotic language module as well have an understanding like right from the start where we looked at all different kinds of languages as well.
Just saying Then we want to recall control experiences. Because for a lot of people, you know, not feeling in control can be quite unsettling and it actually stops people from moving forward and taking action. One of the things I like to highlight in this section is you can't control other people and their response to you, but what you can control is how you choose to feel now. And you drop the now in that tempo slam because they're going to start choosing now. So get them to be aware of that, emphasize that personal control, connect them to that feeling. As with all of this, it's like really connecting to the feelings and being able to tap back into those feelings, or those images will help bring the feelings up.
This is why we look at control personal control. Then the next part is the visualizations and the future pacing. So it's very much a coaching thing is getting people to see how they look moving forward, whether it's a week from now, three months from now, six months from now, you can do like two years from now, depending on what it is that you're working on with your client. And that's a bit of an instinctive thing to trust that you know, and you don't just have to do one you can go, you know, think to two weeks from now, if this situation occurs, then how you will now handle it moving forward and use the language you will be confident to take the action, you will pick up the tools. So the example for the primary one was, you will know that doing a guru process is correct or you'll be Like, yes, I need to work on this client shadow values, whatever the tool is, you will have the confidence to use it and look forward now, three months time, look at the results your clients are getting, because you're using what you've learned.
Watch them thrive. Look how you're thriving as you've coached yourself through these processes as well. So that's the future, you deserve your success. You can enjoy these moments knowing that you've embraced exercise it. So you can see how these little prompts in the script actually form the basis of this induction for you. And, you know, tap into the positive associations, you know, from a memory perspective.
In the past when you felt successful, you've thought it through your body and you've stood up and smile. Now imagine in the future when you feel those feelings how big your smile will be. So interlocking, this comes with time this comes with practice, I may sound, make it sound easy, but if you write it out and drill it, record it, listen to yourself and see how it goes for you. Then we have metaphors, those little stories that teach. So depending on what the situation is, you know, it can be like the little Engine That Could, didn't give up, kept going. We knew that in the end, he would get up that hill.
He had to succeed, whatever it is, and make it a reminder of present confidence. He knew within himself that by continually striving forward, he knew he would do it because he was confident in himself that little engine that could just like you can, and you see how it can tie in now, hang on a minute. You're doing great. So additional sections related to the issue. section should be suggestion. So you can have a direct suggestion, you are now more confident or more in indirect suggestions, you know, like, and as you feel those feelings and know that in the future, you will be more confident, even more confident than you are them.
That's presupposing in the language that they actually already are confident that by doing this induction by 100, confident cool is this right? So you look at the identity, you know, your self esteem, you can feel it within yourself, you know, you can succeed you are confident. The evaluation part is that positive response So, you'll see it in your interactions with other people, your clients will come back and thank you and you are allowed to feel good about yourself. Just painting the story and continuing to build up the outcome. Now, post transitions are really cool. So you know, going forward, you know, in the past where you might have hesitated, you will have the confidence to pick up your coaching tools, or whatever the outcome is that induction that you're creating, they will have the confidence to planting that seed, you know, creating that new behavior.
And in the past where you might have hesitated and stuck with a process that you knew really well, now you'll have the courage and the confidence to step forward and do something new because you know what's best for your client. So, those kinds of things are really important. And, you know, the summary and restatement section. Once again, it's that direct suggestion that indirect suggestion You are a valuable person Have a look at their identity. How were they identify? And how can they now choose to identify, give them the pep talk that culpability have the capability of like you can succeed, and repertoire.
So for you guys in the one that I did is you have all the tools, everything is there for you. And in the past where you weren't feeling confident, now you're ready to do it. And then of course with the memory, you can tie it back into the success. And then you've got the self convinced up. So while you guys were laying there, I was getting you to say in your own mind, you can do it. I am confident I can use these tools.
Because realistically you can. Everything is scripted for you. You get to experience it as a client, you know what it's like on one end of the spectrum. So now you've got the tools, and all you need to do is work the skills to get better at it and keep refining it. Everything you have is easy for you. And then you do the reorientation, which is the countdown to bringing the person back into the room.
Everything is there in the script for you. So when you're bringing someone in and out of trance, just remember, you just need to like take it slowly get them to focus on their breathing, there's no rush with the process. The recorded one for you guys took about 15 minutes. You can drag it out lungo window, drag it but you can make it last for longer. You can talk slower. If somebody needs more time to get into that relaxed state.
Give them the time. So there's different settings and outcomes that you can create. Now, you've got the metaphor section, which you can really, really make quite a powerful part. If you are working with a specific thing like smoking, quitting smoking, you can have a room and do a metaphor about and you find yourself in this room. And the walls are really gray and dirty looking. You opened up the window to last and fresh air to come in and you pick up a sponge out of the bucket that was sitting in the corner and you start to wash down the walls.
And as you're wiping the ash off the walls, it's like ash, it's like dirty smoke. But you can see now that the walls are becoming whiter, they're becoming cleaner and clearer as more fresh air comes in through the window. And as you're breathing in that fresh air and noticing that the walls are showing you right now. So you can see how for something like that. That's so lungs clearing up. Now it's subtle.
It's not necessarily clear, but when a person is really deeply in trance, they'll make these associations, cleaning out their lungs, washing up the dirty dusty tar, allowing more fresh air and combine that with an intention setting process and how many ways can I continue to breathe in fresh air, you will be so powerful at supporting people to quit smoking. There's also I do a jmeter program. Now I haven't got meta programs at this stage up but I will be putting meta programs into the brain MRI where you can do the control room. So you're standing there in front of a whole heck of controls on the wall. And each switch button knob has a different meaning to it. But you're looking for the confidence switch the confidence button, where is it and as you look on the wall for the confidence which you notice It's a dial, and it's currently set to four.
And as you look at that dial, you want to turn it to the right up into a seven, you're raising your levels of confidence in your own control room. So that's a different one. And Olympic Stadium is really, really good for gold, you know, people walking out to get the gold medal, they being celebrated, the camera lights are flashing, everyone's taking this photo, they can feel the energy building up and they take that step up onto the podium and they've been down and received a gold medal. They are a champion to the feelings of being a champion. And then there's another really cute one as well, that I haven't done for ages, but I do like the goals. People can put their goals in a bubble, and then put those goals in bubbles in a bigger bubble and send the bubble out into the future.
Because out in the future is where the goals are waiting to be achieved. So there's so many different ways in that metaphor section that you can embed and create different outcomes for your clients. Now, does this whole process need to be followed? I would suggest at the start, yes. You know, really getting practice to getting people into that relaxed state, taking them through the process, creating the story. And as you get better at this and do more of it, you'll be able to refine it and put in what works, you can tweak it for individual clients.
So if you know you've got a client, that you put them through the whole process, but after maybe 10 minutes, you notice they start to get a bit twitchy in it, shorten it, fit it in with them, that's fine. This is also really, really cool to use with a whole group. So if you have 20 people in a room while you're doing group coaching or whatever, you know, dual approach says get everyone to close their eyes when I was running events for teenagers having 10 teenagers in the room all closing your eyes in a deep state of trance being open to be more confident. Really awesome. So yeah, use it with groups. You know, they can timewise you can have them run for five minutes, 10 minutes, you can run them.
You know, I've seen people do trance inductions that have lasted for an hour. Very slow, very deep. The audience is already in a highly suggestible state. So, don't aim for an hour to start with 1015 minutes is is good. That's usually enough for you to get the outcome that you want for your client. Okay, so we've had a look at the the build part.
Now let's have a bit of a chat about the implement, how do you implement this into your business? Alright, so stop thinking Have your ideas for your next level transcend juicers that What? What do you want to do? Do you want to do this for groups? Do you want to do it for individuals, you want to have general ones for confidence and feeling successful or joy or happiness or whatever it is. You want to have some generic ones that you can just use.
You can have them as audios for opt ins. There's so many ways that you can use these. You can use them as gifts for your clients. If you're running online courses, it can be part of the online course. There's no limits to this and I would love for you to share your ideas in the group for how you're going to use trance inductions in your trainings and with your clients. So when you're working for individuals, if you're working with a particular niche, create some niche specific ones.
I would suggest record them. And so then the clients can have them on their iPhones and listen to them at night before they go to sleep, for example, or when they first wake up. When you're working with groups, scripted aloud, whether it's online or live habit, they're scripted, so it's consistent. And then audios as well as programs. Now, you can jump onto audio jungle, it's at invito. And they do free music that you can potentially put as a behind the scenes this.
Some people respond really well to that. Really great for guided visualizations as well if you want to add energy and emotion to the work that you're doing. So there's sort of the three things that I would consider at this stage when you're implementing them into business. If you have any questions about implementing it into your business, jump on a binary call or pop the questions In a group and let's have a discussion about it. Now next week's actually review wait for you. So take some time to review what you've learned and see where you can implement with all of the tools that you've done so far.
Some people move through it really quickly, some people move through it a little bit slower, whatever you're doing, whatever works for you. And I'll see you in the Facebook group to get questions. Because I'm really hoping that questions otherwise I've taught is really, really well if you can all just pick it up and run with it and have no questions. That would be awesome, but chances are you have questions so please ask and let me serve and support you. So until next time, until the next module, so after reviewing rake or take a breath, I will see you either on a call question in the group or who knows where somewhere in your mind
