Hello friend and welcome back. In this module we are going to create a basic worksheet. This is something that you can create and give out as a freebie on your blog, or you can create it for your business, whatever suits your fancy. So, we're going to log into the dashboard and scroll down to us letter because most likely, you're going to make it a normal letter size worksheet. Okay, so what we're going to do is first insert a title. And what I'm going to create today is a worksheet for beginner painters.

So it's going to be called must have tools for the beginner acrylic painter. And I'm just going to separate it on two lines by pressing return. I'm going to put that at the top. Just pull the textbox up and then I'm going to highlight And I'm going to change it to Sanchez because I'm staying consistent with my brand. Then I'm going to make a little bit more space in between the first line and the second line, because I want to add a little line. So I'm going to do a search for a line.

And this is how you create a basic line. So it comes in this size. First, I'm going to change the color, I'm going to add a color that I always use for my branding. And then the way you make it smaller is you just pinch it in. pinch it in to whatever width you like. And then using the arrows, you can pull it, oops, you got to pull it out this way when you stretch it.

So you pinch it in to make it whatever height can get a little tricky got to kind of get in there till you get that arrow that goes sideways. Oh goodness. And then you just pull it to however you want. Put that right in between. And if you want to nudge it, you can press Alt, an arrow up, and then I'll just give it a little nudge. So must have tools for the beginner acrylic painter.

Now if you don't like how it looks, you can always zoom in. We can play with it this way to make it thinner, and then pull it out again. And there's the text box. That little grid shows it's centered so that that works well. So then also what I'm going to do is put a line at the top, just to kind of create a border for the actual page and make it a little thinner and it's just a lot of playing. And then I'm going to use this light blue.

And I'm going to make it a little transparent. I'm going to make this a little transparent as well. So you just play around with your colors. And then what you do next is you can insert a text box to create your actual worksheet. So what you want to do is size it for the page. And then you can add a bulleted list by pressing this button right here list.

And what do you think the acrylic painters would probably need an easel Canvas Work paper, paints, brushes, paper towels. I like to use a spray bottle, maybe a pencil to draw with. And then the last thing you'll need is a palette. And I don't like to center lists, so I'll put it on the side. And it seems like this is a little big, so we're going to size it down. Maybe 16.

So I like to always kind of identify lists with a little bit of an object so you can kind of put something in there like this, or you can make another solid line and insert text over it. So we can just put this in right here and change the color. If I go Up to the textbox here, these are the colors we've already used. Click on this go the transparency and it's 39. So you click on the color, go the transparency and pull it down to 39. So then the colors will be exactly the same.

We will put a text element over this called art supplies. And then you just pull the text box right over it. We've had the worksheet done, and then you can just highlight both of these and group them so that you can actually copy them. Pull it down here and then you can ungroup and then make another list of technology tools and that will help a beginner show there are So what we'll do is we will come up to more over here and copy this text box, pull it down, it's already a list and move it around. So it's even. All we to do is highlight and press Delete.

And then we can make a new list for the technology tools. I use Dropbox a lot. Obviously, I use Canva. And then I use my phone for pictures. So that just gives you an idea of how to make a basic worksheet. Then what you can do to soup it up a little is copy that, bring it down to the bottom.

And you can add another text box for branding. In case anyone pins this or you find it somewhere else, they know where to go for the source of the information. And then you'll just pull the textbox down. You can lay it right over and All centered. Another cool option that you could use for any kind of worksheet is to create a hyperlink, what you would do is just highlight the box that you want to hyperlink. And just keep in mind that when you highlight a text box, the hyperlink will apply to the entire text box.

So if you wanted to create hyperlinks for these, each of these individually, you'll have to use different text boxes. So I'll show you what I mean. Let's just start with doing the Dropbox, hyperlink. What you do is come up to more, click on link, and then you would just put in the entire web address, Dropbox Comm. And then what you may want to do is just change the color of the actual text so that people know that it's an actual hyperlink Otherwise, they won't know that they can click on it, and this will become linked when you see It download it and it's the PDF version of it, you'll see the hyperlink. So if we wanted to add another text box, so you just add, and we'll do this one as Canva to make it 16 and bulleted and left justified, just delete this part.

And then if you click on that text box, and you click link, then you could just go HTTP canva.com apply. And again, we're going to change the color of it so people know that it's an actual link. And what I'm going to do is actually send this to the back so that it shows the darker colored little button right there for the bullet. Okay, so what we're going to do is save it up here as whatever file you want to save it as I like to keep it a little shorter because sometimes it does stall has a long title, and then just go to file over here, save and it'll always tell you when you last saved, all changes saved. And then you want to download it. We want to download for print, because people are going to be printing these outs you want it to be a good quality.

And then you just press download. just takes a few seconds to come right in the corner here. Let's click on that and see how it turned out. So if we scroll down, you can see the two hyperlinks here. So one is Dropbox. Perfect.

So we'll click the back arrow, and then Canva and there we are. So that shows you how to do the hyperlinks worksheets are great. way to engage your audience so you can get really creative with it. You can add in some questions or a text box or you can do forms where people can fill in to kind of brainstorm for their own business. The possibilities are endless. So just get as creative as you can and have fun with it.
