Hey there, welcome back. In this next module, we are going to make a long form pin for Pinterest. The way that this is different is it's a little bit longer in the feed, so it gets noticed a lot more. It's not that different to make. So I'm going to show you today how to create it using custom dimensions. So you want to log in and come to create a design.

And we're going to go up to use custom dimensions. For the long form pin. It's generally around 735 by 2100 pixels. So we're just going to put that in and hit design. And as usual, here's our workspace and here are the layouts. Today, we're not going to use the layouts, we're going to use our own uploads.

So I have already uploaded a few pictures I'm going to use, but the way you do it is you can upload your own images by clicking here and then Your computer will pop up and show different files available to you. And then you can choose from there. See I have Dropbox. So this is all my a lot of Dropbox stuff. So I'm just going to close that out and scroll down to find the images I uploaded. Here's one, so I'm going to click on that and it brings it right into the workspace.

And here's the other. So what I'm going to do is just fit these for my graphic. And then this one I'm going to fit down here. Up and the way you do is you just pull on the corners until you have the size that you like. And also you can always scroll in down here. Make sure you get it end to end.

So we'll check up here and that one looks pretty good too. So now here we have two pictures. And my pin is going to be about how to print your own greeting cards. So what I'm going to do is go to elements because I don't love the amount of it was my floor showing here. So I'm going to go to shapes. And I'm going to click on a square.

I'm going to make this square white. And I'm going to stretch it so it fits the area and then I'm just going to move it up. So it gives me a little more writing space. And seamless, you can't tell from the other area. Next, I'm going to go over here to text and add the text which is going to be how to print your own greeting cards. Then I'm going to click on the text box and pull it up.

I could probably make that a little bigger. Let's see what it looks like. And then go to text spacing and the line height is a little big, I can see a lot of space in between the different lines. So I'm going to pull that down a little bit. It's kind of give it a little cozier feel, and then center it in the square. So there's a basic graphic, we can kind of spice it up a little by, let's look for a border.

We're going to do a little search, I kind of like this one. And even the colors pretty good, kind of grab on that square, and you can see it's centered. I'm just pull it down a little more just to give it a little more interest. So that looks pretty good. And then we obviously always want to brand ourselves for any graphic or PIN. So we're going to go back to the textbox we'll do a subheading just going to put in Stephanie Martell comm we're going to pull that down here.

Now it looks like it's getting a little lost. So we want to change the color of that it's already selected. So we're going up to the color palette. Let's try the gray. That looks pretty good. But again, the picture is covering it.

So what I'm going to do is pull up the picture a little bit, you can also change it to a little bit of a prettier pink, even white would be better. We just want to make sure that print is the same. So this is Apple fat face. I'm gonna go to my Sanchez, which I normally use. Again, when you're doing designs, you kind of want to stay consistent so that people can identify your designs. So we'll just do Sanchez.

But this is a great pin that you can pin on Pinterest, it'll get a lot of attention because it's longer. And then when you put in the description, it'll tell people a little more detail about what you're hoping they click over to. So just want to make sure that you name it so we'll say hello Long Form pin for greeting cards done. And then we're going to File Save. And then you're all set. All you have to do is download and that is the long form pin.
