Welcome back to another video and this time we will be talking about emails, learn these electronic mail tricks to get more done. Now, there will be things here that you might have known about, but I'm sure that there will be plenty more for you to learn and understand and use to be more productive. So how to be more productive using emails? Well, number one, it's send short emails to your favorite bloggers. Now, this might not seem like something weird or something different or something new. But once you get the habit, once you are habitually sending emails to the people you really respect and are really looking towards getting their opinions or connecting with them on a more meaningful level.

You will see that they will provide you with opportunities just because they know You, right? They know who you are, and they've talked to you before. So just sending a few emails here and there, we'll prime the land for for a new relationship and you'll get opportunity, opportunity without even asking. And number two is to apply to jobs. And this is an interesting thing that I've noticed is that people tend to recommend or work with people they know that would be a number one, number two people they like, and number three people they trust. So once people trust you, it will be much, much easier for you to get the job but a plank job using email is not about actually getting the job, but rather creating a connection with that person and seeing where that relationship can move on further.

The number three way to be more productive using emails is to have lots of Have drafts ready. So that means writing emails ahead of time but not actually sending them. And you can use, you can use canned responses, which are basically email templates that you can save within your account. Gmail has a great canned responses element in there have to activate it through its its labs, but once you get it, it's it's really useful. And then once you have these drafts, you'd no longer need to look for the that specific email that changed what you were looking for and you will be able to just find the one that is needed by you. The number fourth way is to reply right away now.

This is a very big turning point if you do manage to get it right When he replies right away means that you no longer have to think about your response. That doesn't mean you're unconsciously sending just your scan the email really quick and you'll be able to reply right away knowing that there is this constraint of time. The fifth way is to always look for the open door now, what do I mean by that? What do I mean by the open door? Now? If you're subscribed to newsletters, if you are getting emails from from bloggers or or marketers, you might notice from time to time people ask for opinions ask you questions, or just sort of have a phrase at the end saying something like oh, you can reply me anytime I'll, I'll answer personally or things of that nature.

So that is that is an open door You should definitely look at and see whether or not you can provide value for the other person by just looking at those signals and actually acting on them. The sixth way to be more productive using emails is to respond with bulleted lists. I can't even start to explain or remember how many times I've looked for a specific email or something that the other person has said or I have said, where I was only looking for a specific plan or a list that I sent, but it wasn't formatted right. So it was very hard for me to look through paragraphs and phrases and words, to actually find those 234 maybe five words where we basically organized the the whole email the whole thing we were talking About so if you can, if you can, this is very important, respond with with bulleted lists that will help the other person, see where you're coming from and what needs to be done in an organized manner.

Number seven would be to gather your bookmarks into a newsletter and there are a bunch of different services that allow you to do this. And this, this is interesting because it will help you gather the bookmarks that you already have, or interesting emails or things that you've saved on a Facebook and once you gather them in a in a weekly newsletter, let's say perhaps it will also get you in the in the mood or into the habit of actually going through them a bit or having to scan them in order to actually write a bit of text about each one. Number eight is to send detailed questions to App support. And if you're using apps or websites or if you've noticed a great web service, and you you just can't wait to make it better just sort of send an email to the to that support or to the contact email and actually send them a detailed questions or things about how they got started, or why a specific thing works the way it does.

And you will see that in time in time, that will get you to the next level and you will create a connection with the with the founders of that service or that app. Number nine, would be to schedule fund reminders for yourself. And you can use things like banana tag, or specific tracking system. HubSpot, sidekick or HubSpot email has a few of these. You will be able to schedule when You are sending an email. So you can, for example, write the email to yourself and schedule it to be sent maybe a week away from now.

And then you will be reminded by yourself that you need to do something, and you won't forget it anymore. And number 10, the 10th way to be more productive using emails is to write a to do and transform that make it into a Trello card. And if you're not familiar with Trello, it's a to do list or organizer. It's basically free. And if you're getting emails from people saying, Hey, we should start this project or you get a bulleted list with specific things, you can use that specific email to transform it automatically into a Trello card and you can have a better overview of all your ongoing tasks. So this video was all about how to be more productive using emails.

Thank you for watching, and I'll see you in the Next video
