Welcome back. This is another set of videos. This time, we'll be talking about a few different things. I just wanted to create this bond series of videos because I was interested in showing you exactly how to do a few of the things that we've been talking about. So it's video, we'll be talking about emails and how to use canned responses, how to set it up. And I will show you a few of the canned responses that I have, that have successfully gotten me clients and optimized my workflow reduced my time needed to actually contact people.

So let's get right into it. What you're looking at right now is just a standard gmail account, it will work on both Gmail. And if you have a Google Apps for Work Work, business accounts or one that is paid, you can use this on a free demo as well. So if we go into this little section, called settings, we click Settings once more, then we go into labs. And here at the first one will be a canned responses. If it's not, you can simply just search for it.

And you'll notice that I have it as enabled you if you don't see it, when you construct when you're composing a new email then probably you have it as disabled. Have it enabled and save changes and then the option will appear. And I will just show you, so why now we've we've set it up. And once you click Compose, nothing really different will look like everything will look pretty much the same. Obviously, your Gmail will look different if you've set it up with different teams or different colors or if you have a different extensions for for Chrome or for Gmail here and the section about canned responses. is right here near the end.

It's not really convenient. And you might think that this is not really good, you're not, you're not notice it or see it. It's somewhat part of the idea since you might want to use it a lot. But since most of these other actions are there primarily, you will not want to maybe spam it a lot. So let's go into it. You'll click this, more options.

And you'll notice here that there are canned responses, there's the canned responses option. And I have a few of these let's, let's see what they're about. They are arranged in a three, three sections. So there's the insert, there's the save, right, insert, save, and there's the Delete option. So these three sections as they're names will explain as they're pretty self explanatory. When I go to insert a specific canned response, right, let's say I click this one, what it will do, it will actually insert the the template, the canned response that I've created before.

So earlier, it will insert it into the email itself. So that is very useful when you're doing mass outreach or in mass contacting of people. And you don't want to be doing copy pasting or or things of that nature. So think of think of general idea think of canned responses as a way to copy paste without actually copying and pasting all of those different texts. So this is one of the canned response. I use this One is a regarding my my personal marketing blog.

And each time I would create a write a new article and mention mentioned a few influencers, or people who were higher higher up with lots more traffic than then I had in terms of blogging, I would send them these this email saying, Hey, here's who I am. Here's what I like about what you're doing. And I've written a post about blah, blah, blah, and you're supposed to actually fill this in with your own or your own data. So if you could, and I go, he gave you credit in my latest article again, here's the link. If you like what you read, I will love or share or a tweet and I've, I've actually made this bold You can also add customization to the canned responses that you have. And it was important for me because that was the action I wanted to concentrate on at least in this specific section.

So this was and then obviously and the MDMA the way you would normally end it, goodbye or whatever, usually, right? So let's just delete this because this is also editable. Let's go back into canned responses. And now we can also have Save. Now, if we were to insert a specific canned response, and then notice that, hey, there needs to be a few changes. Maybe we've updated the way that we talk to people are the thing that we say in that specific email.

Then what we would do is we would start with a canned response, so inserting it, and then once we had it in our email, and we added or removed or changed things, we would go to the same menu only instead of hitting or selecting insert, we would select Save and then select the title That specific canned response and it would basically save or overwrite the previous canned responses, the new version would be saved in there. Now, if you were to go to the section here, delete, you wouldn't need to insert the canned response first, you could you can just select the the candidate points that you're no longer using or you simply want to get rid of, and you would be able to delete it just by selecting, it's titled from this, this section here. So here's I'm going to show you another one just to give you an idea, a better idea of how I usually talk to people and what sort of results I get.

These are. This is another one. This is a template or a canned response that I usually send for people for jobs that I'm looking to Join or people that I'm trying to sort of share my experience with. And so I'm telling them about specific articles that I've written. And things that I'm proud of. Let's take a look at another one.

Canned Responses, and then maybe this one, this is a much more a more extensive way of replying to people or telling people that hey, here's, here's who I am. And it makes things canned responses in general make things much more easier in terms of scale, so if I were to copy and paste, hindi 10s or hundreds of these emails to influencers or to jobs that I was interested in, it would get pretty hectic because maybe sometimes I would want to personalize the subject line or something in the end. So that would be Take me a lot, a lot of time if I were to do that from from scratch, or I would maybe get confused or maybe do a double copy and paste in a specific email, and you want to make a good impression from the get go. So having canned responses is a real time saver for me.
