Welcome to day five. Today we're going to develop the 5% breaths into a body journey. What this means is that instead of simply focusing our awareness on the physical sensations on the areas around the nostrils, we're going to take that awareness throughout the body. And remember, physical sensations can be anything. And when you are ready, find a place to sit and close your eyes. This is a guided meditation.

Let us practice the 5% breaths for a minute. stabilize our minds. Practice the 5% breath like this. Like before, counter number each time you begin a cycle of breath until you reach to five. Then begin again 123 and so forth. Do it at your own pace.

Keep that breath natural. And then when you're ready, you can then drop the numbers and simply focus your awareness on the breath and breath out on the breath and the present moment without expecting the next breath to come. Now we're going to take hell weirdness From the nose towards the top of the head, and from there, we're going to begin moving part by part towards the toes until we have covered the whole body. The size of the area to be aware, will be around the size of your palm and start from the top of your head. Stay in each area for two cycles of breath. One cycle is breathing in and breathing out.

For example, you can start from the top of the head. They move part by part so that you cover the whole head, neck, shoulders, body, and so forth down to the toes. Once you have moved your awareness throughout the body down to the toes, which will take a while. Then begin your journey again from the top of the head down to the toes again. Don't worry if you cannot complete the body journey. We'll go through certain parts of the body simply try your best to be aware of any physical sensations you're experiencing, and that part of the body after 14 minutes in explanation will be given Okay you can open your eyes the purpose of the body journey is to develop awareness even more.

We train those by developing the ability to move our awareness throughout the body, covering each part. The body journey is also like a gym, which works on the mental muscles. Here we are training our minds to follow us rather than the other way around. By giving the instructions to follow. Realize that most of the time in life we are simply following the mind and mind which is driven mostly by our negativities our fears, our sufferings. Here's some tips.

Firstly, when we forget where we were on the body journey, it is a reminder to us that our mind has just wandered. Secondly, remember so that every time you find yourself wandering off, just try your best to drag yourself back calmly into the present moment. by moving your awareness calmly towards the physical sensations of the flow of breath happening within the nostrils. And why do we come back to the nostrils rather than anywhere else on the body because the sensations of the breath will always be there.
