All right. All right, I want to get you kind of in the right mindset before we really get in. And I want to really discuss kind of the overall scheme of this because we're going to be covering a lot of things really quickly, I want you to kind of get the big idea up front. And then of course, realize what all of those pieces are and how they fit together. So I always feel like it's best to give blueprints up front, or at least in the middle. So that way it gives your mind either something to build upon, or to coaly everything that you've learned together and go, Ah, this is why this all fits together.

So with that being said, this is kind of the blueprint that I want for you to follow. And it's gonna start you know, you may be in multiple different scenarios, but the number one thing is I want you to this is my crappy little podcast if you can't tell. That's my little microphone. There. You need to get your equipment first. So if you get your equipment, you already have these things you You know, a lot of people don't.

And that's not a big deal. Because with the greatness of Amazon and being able to ship anywhere in the world, doesn't matter where you are, you can get these items for really inexpensive prices, or my other thing is going to eBay. You never know sometimes people within your local area, maybe selling that same item there, you know, it's used, they don't want it anymore. It works perfectly fine. You can really snatch up some great deals. The next thing that we're then going to be doing is kind of setting up how to record.

All right, so the way that I like to record and this is kind of why I want to give you this blueprint to put inside of your mind is I love video naturally. If you have video, you're going to get audio. If you get audio. You can actually transcribe this and I'm going to talk about this more. You can actually then get text. So even though we're going after a podcast which primarily you would think only audio, right?

And then we could get the tech. I like to record what I'm doing, I'll have my podcast where I'll have a guest over here inside, I'll either write inside my office or we'll connect via, you know, Skype, Google Hangouts. There's 101 ways to connect with people and record you your screen your conversation, and I love doing that. So one thing that I often try to do is like I say, capture that video so that way, for people that want to watch this, we can automatically this goes on to YouTube whoops. This will automatically go into you know, libsyn or we'll talk about other alternatives. And then this is automatically your blog.

So all of these things then build together and create a more content marketing base covering all your bases. And it really helps you establish yourself and your credibility much faster because I I often talk about how there's going to be this level of success. And I'm going to take this time by s, which stands for success, success being number of subscribers, number of items or front end products sold number of, you know, listeners number of plays, there could be a million success schools, but all all goals, especially big ones, they all kind of end up like this. And that's kind of how success happens. So you're going to be starting out and I can tell you, it's happened for podcasts. It's happened for videos, it's happened for articles.

It's happened for my clients, it's happened for myself. I know this for a fact, this is kind of how success works. And this is why a lot of people fail, because they don't understand you need to fail to success. Your first podcast is going to be absolute crap. let's admit it, but you're putting it out there. It's something that you finally made.

And you know what, most people they end up starting on your most recent podcast and kind If like a possum, eating their way backwards, and what I often like to think of it as is, people are then going to see Wow, you're so much better. And they're eventually going to reach a point in your podcast where it's just like, Oh, you know, maybe they don't like your presenting, because again, we all start out as beginners, we all fail at first start, and then we get better. And then we become successful and experts and entrepreneurs now, yada, yada, yada. So, I just want you to keep in mind that most people eat your information going backwards. So they're going to probably reach a point and then stop. So just think of your first podcast is just getting the hang of the ropes and that's okay, because it's going to help you still tremendously and what ends up happening is you're going to go in, and it's going to be something like, you know, it's zero, you're not getting anything, you know, 50 podcasts, you're getting this at 100 you're getting this, you know, 150 you're here, then it starts knocking up and then you know, you get to 300 and it's really taken off and then it's just like Uber successful, but that's the thing is that you need to realize that it's going to take you doing something consistently residually over and over and over in order to have that big success.

So I'm just kind of bracing you for that impact and what the big overall scheme and idea is here. So once we have the equipment, we're going to get it shipped to us we're going to set up the recording, we're then going to record in a video format, I'm going to show you how to set that up, which will also capture your audio if you don't want to capture your video quite all right, you can just capture your screen so you don't need a webcam like I do how I'm showing kind of in the little corner and what you can end up using is just again yourself off camera. You can you know really inflect inside your voice you don't have to worry about Oh How do I look? Am I you know, do I groom myself and all this and that it's quite alright. Just get a video of maybe even your screen but I do suggest Of course getting a video of your room you you know kind of a look at other podcasts there.

On YouTube, and how they, you know, go through, they don't have a lot of cuts, they don't have a lot of editing there's nothing special about it. Usually the video if they have people coming in physically is just focused on the person who's being interviewed. And then there'll be a secondary camera that may cut in sometimes with the host you yourself and the questions you may ask or some of the you know, banter you may have back and forth. So once all of that is set up, you got your recording, then you're basically going to obviously record right. So we're going to act like you've gotten your first podcast, you know, you've done a quick test or a dry run, and then we're going to get into editing. And then once we're done editing, of course, we need to post these materials.

I'm going to show you how to post your audio into Lipson, Lipson, or you know, SoundCloud or any of the alternatives that we'll be talking about. Overall, I think you guys should realize how to upload to YouTube. If you don't, it's just go to youtube.com forward Upload. If you have a Gmail account, you have a YouTube account. And if you have a Gmail account, you have the drive, you have cloud, you have so many different things of all the Google services open to you. So you can use that upload there.

And then of course, I'm going to show you my trick on how to get your audios transcribed for very cheap. And especially especially when it comes to transcriptions. I mean, my goodness, guys, if you have someone that you're interviewing back and forth to speakers, and the thing goes on for maybe 30 minutes, if you did this anywhere inside the US, you paid a professional around here, you're probably looking at 100 to $150. to transcribe that. I'm going to show you how to transcribe that type of podcast for as low as 15 to $20. Pretty amazing.

Outside of that, that's kind of going to be the main ways that you end up getting all of your content. This is the overall, you know, idea, the blueprint that I'm showing you You. And once we get through all this, like I said, within about a day, you'll have everything together, especially if you already have your equipment if you don't, that's of course going to add time to the overall scheme of setting all this up because shipping, things aren't instant, it's not gonna just virtually pop in and physically be there in front of you. So that may take a few days, maybe even weeks depending on where you are in the world. But once that's there, getting it set up once you have the equipment, less than a 24 hour job, and it's very quick, very easy, and very cost effective. I mean, using libsyn, you're basically going to be paying something like $5.

And if you use any of my alternatives, which give you kind of unlimited, you're going to be paying, you know, Max, 14 bucks or 15 bucks. So it's very inexpensive and that's per month. So it does cost a little bit to have a podcast but podcast is also going to reap much bigger benefits in terms of what you get In a social presence and how you can share and core again, you getting all of these videos and even things transcribed, it's going to really pay out dividends much more in the long term because you're getting a lot more bang for your buck and your time essentially. So that's the entire blueprint. Let's go ahead and dive in, shall we?
