Okay, so here we are starting off at the MailChimp page. So everything inside here is pretty simple to get started, I'm just going to walk you through logging in registry in case you don't already have an account. If not, you can just go ahead and skip forward so that way once we're inside the actual account, I'm digging into piece by piece, what each tab does and how we're going to sync it up to your website, etc. So like I said, All we're going to do is if you don't have an account already, you're just going to type or click that login Of course, then there's going to be another button that we're going to click that says, hey, we need to create an account so yeah, I do need a MailChimp account. I don't have any links, short links, like usual. The reason being is I I do not have any additional discounts MailChimp whenever they have discounts, it's to exactly whatever they have on special it's always available on the homepage.

So there's no coupons I have for this. Most of their accounts have always been free. I hope they never change that. So that way you get up to like, sometimes it's 500. Sometimes it's 2000 emails that you can store inside MailChimp without even having to pay. Now, of course, we will start off at their lowest beginner or basic plan so that we have what's known as an autoresponder.

That autoresponder is going to mean, whenever someone signs up into our email list, they'll automatically whether it's Tonight, tonight at 3am, tomorrow at 7am, they're all going to be immediately when they sign up, send off that first email for that list of that information that they wanted. And then they're going to be followed up on a consistent basis either right after they signed up every 24 hours or you know, hey, the subsequent day at 11am or you know, whenever it is that you find most people open their emails. So, again, we're going to get inside of all of that but an autoresponder is something You'll have to pay for inside MailChimp. So it's a reason why you're gonna have to put in your payment information but for right now, we can use a freebie account but I'm going to also be using an autoresponder account so that way I can show you how to set up your autoresponder and I'm going to show you how to speak through that autoresponder to get people active and ready to buy.

So with a username, we're just going to put in Zach Miller. You know, I'm just going to put in some random number, I don't know. And we'll just use a password. You know, this isn't very, very protected. You know? All right, there we go.

So of course, since, as usual, whenever you do these types of things, you do have to change passwords afterwards, but we'll just get a simple easy one to get started. All right, well activate the account. Thank you. Just going to head into your email wherever that is I headed into mine contact Zack dash miller.com went in activated my account, confirm that I'm human. All right, there we go. So I'm just going to click on that.

Once they do that, they're going to give me a welcome screen and that welcome message is where we're going to be starting off in the next video. In the meantime, whatever information they ask for, just go ahead and fill that out. You're going to go ahead and say, Hey, I'm Zack dash miller.com and all of this is just going to help fill out all the details for right now. There we go. Would you like to help increase or sell anything online? I do.

But at the same time, if you're not doing that, then just let them know. They're just going to help integrate different things into your account for MailChimp so that way they can keep track Lack of sales, ROI, etc. If you want to connect any social accounts, I do not at this moment, I do suggest that you do that's very beneficial. So, right now we're gonna go ahead and say, Let's go, it's gonna boot us out with all of that information entered in now to our can spam marketing policy so that way we are allowed to send these emails out. And people can properly unsubscribe or send in a spam complaint, which of course won't really happen, showing you the way that we communicate with our audience. But filling in all of that information does need to be correct and proper.

So that way, it's a place where you can receive mail, in case you get at too many complaints. It's just so that MailChimp can physically reach out to you and let you know, you know, if something's gone awry, you know, maybe we had to close your account, just talk back and forth with us. So it's there for your safety and the safety of others as well.
