Productive people project confidence and they actually have confidence. It's not some fake sort of thing they got from a hypnotist or going to some weekend retreat where everyone comes back glassy eyed and yes, I'm capable of that. It's not that it's confidence based on real accomplishment. People tell me I look confident when I give speeches when I'm speaking on video. Why is that? It's because I am confident.
Why am I confident? Because I've practiced thousands of times. I've watched myself on video and I know exactly how I come across. Doesn't mean I'm certain you'll love me. Some people don't like me, but I'm confident that I'm coming across my best because I put in the work. That's why highly productive people exude confidence is they focus on an area of expertise they get good at and they get better and better and that breeds a passion.
