You must position yourself as a world class expert, who has unique experiences, unique expertise in solving specific problems that people have. If you do that and do that successfully, you can work all over the world go to interesting places, you can charge a lot more money than if you did exactly the same thing. And you worked in just your hometown. Now, again, there are exceptions. There are plenty of lawyers in New York City, who never traveled anywhere, and some of them make four and $5 million a year. And they're just dealing with clients based in the United States.

So you can do it both ways. But if you develop a world class reputation, it simply gives you a lot more opportunities. And it allows you to charge more and you might not be someone I know it sounds like I talk about money. A lot But whether you care about money or not, money gives you the ability and the options to do a lot of different things. Whether it is giveaway more of your services to your favorite charity, whether it's build your website, do your dream book, pay for your benefits and your kids education. The more you charge, the more power you're going to have to do a lot of good things in your life, even if you personally don't care about money.
