Virtually literally starting your business. You already know at this point and if you don't, that's why I'm at your service.

You can always inbox us at care support at Dr. Sarah Renae Langley calm or has to be a service to you to see how I can better assist you. Perhaps on a one on one level but it is a matter of you knowing your why. What is the reason for you starting What is your why your reason for starting is your why. What is your passion? What motivates you What drives you? What is your why what is the intention?

What is the aim? What is the reason behind you wanting to start your business? So you started you, you start a business so this is like a recap and to reiterate, when you're looking to start your business, always have your y in mind, your mission and your vision will guide that. So the reason for starting if this is your why your target market, you are a solution to someone's problem. So you have your target market in mind. You think you're thinking about them as you are creating your business as you're driving your business as you're running your business.

As you're operating your business. You keep them in mind at all costs. They are your inquiry They are the ones that are keeping you grounded and keeping you focused and keeping you connected. That's a great one. Kevin, you connect it with your business keeping you connected with your Why, what's your reasoning. So always keep that in view and focus.

And you'll be just fine in running your business. Do your marketing research. So when you're starting your business, make sure that you already have done your market research on your competitors, what they're doing well, what they're not doing well, what gaps, they're not feeling well, gaps they are feeling so that you can take use that to your advantage as you are launching your business, you're starting it and you're being the go to person, for the clients that they could not serve. And perhaps some of the clients they were serving that's not satisfied with the service, or maybe feel or believe that your competitor is just not the right fit. And that in and of itself is very true. You know, there's times that we just don't fit with within this don't gel with certain people, certain businesses, certain products, certain programs.

So you will take all that in and create a business in such a way and run it or at least start it with this in mind. So that now you are driving distance to you focus groups I gave the example and one of the of the lessons or another quick insure away or another show away, there's not a get rich quick because sometimes these type of focus groups you're not getting paid for right. So there's no rich in it. There's a strategy. So you can now gather information and the research you are positioning yourself to try out practice swing during that three to five lesson program to get the feedback. First, I mentioned in the in the one of the other lessons I said that is for testimonial purposes, but also you're getting the feedback so that you can know what's working, what's not working, what you have to tweak and adjust, and what you don't what you're doing well in and in the things that weren't so much clear that some of them were confused and what you were doing, you can take all that in so that you can tailor and polish, your product, your program your service.

Surveys is another great way. So in starting your business, have surveys. You're getting the feedback feedback is important, as I mentioned before about my colleagues who taught on rejection therapy, the power of No, no, you don't have to take it personal. Of course, that could mean something. It could be because of your upbringing, because of the expectations that you may have put on yourself that you always got to be perfect and do things right and if you heard no, your world you know, it's all upset and no, rather adjust. reframe.

Reframe your mindset. to not take it personally is only business. But the way that you do that. So likewise with that two surveys plays the same part, you're finding out how well you're doing in your business and your product and your program. So that you can always adjust or do better or polish it, improve, enhance, and also finding out what other programs products and services that they're that your target market market is looking for. So that you can create those for them as well so that you are continually having them to come to you.

As opposed to the hustle and the bustle of always getting new people. That's a strategy in and of itself, figuring out how to help them to remain. Now I said in one of the other lessons. As a counselor, I wasn't interested in having people constantly revolving through my doors, because I took it as Alright, they're always going to be dependent on me as opposed to seeing the answer within themselves. Here I was thinking as a counselor, though then here as a marketer, It is about having your tribe, that you are that resource. That doesn't mean that the person has to come to you and depend on you for every single thing.

But rather, you are the go to, because they love your brand. There are certain brands that you go to that you love, that you don't alter, you don't deviate. There's certain foods that I like, and I don't I stick with those certain foods. There's certain restaurants that I go to, and I stick with that restaurant because I because I know like and trust the restaurant. If I'm not interested in exploring and trying out something different or new. I'm going to default and fall back on what it is what is familiar and comfortable for me.

So likewise, when it comes to the surveys, you gathering the information and the resources necessary, so that you can overall be a force to be reckoned with a business to be reckoned with to be respected and repeatable business because you took the time To start your business accurately, you start you took the time to create your business to really be a great, great service and resource for people who have the problem and you're the solution to their problem. So, creating the program, product or service and around the findings, key, this is so key. Once you do your research, do your groups do your surveys asking the right questions, because when people ask powerful questions, you may not have all the answers, but you know what questions to ask. You can then create and this is the actual order that I wish I followed. So that's why I'm helping you out because Lord knows I was such a hard headed person.

And my mom, my dad would tell me, he used to tell me rather it's about doing it and decency in an order. So when you do your research, and you create the programs accordingly based on the findings based on what your target market has been said that you have a great, beautiful product program and service it is going to serve them. So, again, it's not solely about you making your pockets fat at all. It's about how do you provide quality services and helping your target market to solve the problem that they have. They're looking to you as a solution to their problem. So show up that way.

Aim it that way, set the intention that way. In starting your business, do you have a marketing strategy? Remember, you're a marketer, and you're a salesperson, and whatever industry that you're in. So do you have a marketing strategy behind how you're going to market your business? How are you going to be visible and credible to your target market? How we show up?

How will they know that you even exist as a business? What is your marketing strategy? You have to have that when you're starting the business content strategy How you gonna get your content distributed? How you going to go out there and make sure that your content is getting to your target market? What is your content strategy? How do you?

How will you market your videos, your podcast, your articles, your website? How will you go about it effectively and efficiently? See, just like I say how anyone could start a business, but it takes a masterful person to sustain their business. The same deal applies here. Anyone can create content and get it out there however they need to without a plan or strategy, but it's another for it to be done efficiently and effectively to serve its purpose so that you're not wasting your hard earned time, your precious time your hard earned dollars. Just you know, throwing it out caution you know, don't care what how you think.

Throwing caution to the wind. And it's like, you know, you just go on from what you know and hoping that it will work. No, you need to have a strategy. What is your content strategy? What is your marketing strategy? What is your launch strategy?

Yes, they are different strategies that you have to have a plan of action that's efficient and effective. That's going to help you yield the results that you're looking for. yield the return on your investment. And you even putting the time and the money towards forming your business here. So then, in starting your business, you have to have a launch strategy. What is your launch strategy?

When do you plan to launch your business? How are you going to keep yourself relevant and visible to your target market in the marketplace? How you going to lead up with the hype? You know what the anticipation How you going to have them to be So excited about your launch about your business coming out into the forefront into the limelight? What is your launch strategy? You have to have that when starting your business tracking measures, what are you tracking measures.

So you have to make sure that you have a tracking measure in place. And tracking measures such as Google and Google Analytics is one. And so I'll probably will give you for each one an idea of what this looks like in terms of launch strategy, content strategy, marketing strategy. So tracking measure, such as Google Google Analytics, so seeing who is coming to your website, seeing which page, they're checking out, that they're frequently frequenting the most, how much time they're spending on that particular page, because then you want to focus your attention on that particular page. What more can you do? The other ones that they didn't pay attention to so much, you want to adjust and see how you can improve that page.

So that or maybe perhaps don't even have that page. So that you can only you know, so you can get right direct to the point. And that will help to turn the prospects into clients. So having a tracking measure like Google Analytics, analytics is one. Back to the launch strategy, one way of the last strategy is building the hype up the same 90 days out, I'm just using this as an example 90 days before you decide to launch so I helped my client who had he has written a book, but he didn't have any type of strategy behind it all he was doing he was doing one thing well, which was showing up and doing his Facebook Lives. But even in his Facebook Lives, there was a strategy behind that.

Again, the content strategy. How do you start your your video will say what things When you say to engage your audience, when do you say it? When you invite them in in terms of acknowledging them or asking them questions and not allowing them or inviting them to post a comment in the comment section of the Facebook Live for or for an example. Everything has to be aimed the effort and what you want to see produced as a result of that and every effort that you make. You have to have that mapped out streamlined, so that again, the goal is for you to be successful in your business, to be happy in your business, have your business sustainable. So in starting your business, you have to look at how you're going to go about your launch strategy.

Perhaps you're going to to 90 days out you're going to do a Facebook Live once a week, to hype up the audience to have them anticipate on seeing you At the 90 day point, have a grand opening with your business. And that could be virtual as well, by the way, a virtual grand opening a virtual grand opening party, you know, where you're inviting everybody on zoom. And you're now talking about your business and what you offer in which you certainly you already perhaps in doing that, even in the 90 days out, how you're, you know, creating content and putting out information and demonstrating yourself as a, as a thought leader or positioning yourself as the person in your industry, the big fish and the blue pond. You're the go to expert and you are the person that has the solution or you are the solution to their problem.

So those 90 days, that's what you're building up. You're building up the anticipation you're building up the credibility and the visibility to the point that now the countdown begins and You are having your party your grand opening, whether by by way of social media or doing it virtually or having a physical, a grand opening of your business. That will be an example of a launch strategy. You're mapping out the weeks, the months, and exactly what in each week or what in each month you're doing to launch your business or launch that product or launch that program for people to know that it all exists. Content Strategy is having a calendar and scheduling out when you're going to have you're scheduling out what content you want out, as well as you're aiming the content to be to be beneficial for you in terms of people getting to know you liking you and trusting you, as well as the visibility.

So, let's say the content was most popular are people using inspirational memes and quotes or asking questions and they're posting them or they're scheduling them using one of the schedulers I mentioned in one of the lessons about MailChimp and MailChimp is an email service where or email automation service where you can schedule out your emails, write the content and schedule them out to go out automatically as you have them scheduled. You can do the same thing for your content. You can use something called Hootsuite, Hootsuite, that's h o t SUIT. You can check Hootsuite out and you can set up your content to go out whether it's inspirational memes, whether it's, you know, questions that you were asking to your target audience that's going to engage them to compel To engage and have the conversation on social media as an example, or as a starting point to build up the visibility and credibility, but no license no like and trust factor for you.

You can use Hootsuite to post and not only and not not just one platform, but to all platforms, all your social media platforms that you have, whether you're on Twitter or Facebook or Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Google Plus, you can set up the content to go out on a regular basis. So that will be an example of a content strategy. marketing strategy can be knowing your target audience, research and your target audience. And then how you're going to position your program your product to be in way of a view for them. How are you going to market this and you know your program.

So let's say that you have an E course. But you want to market. So you're setting up the strategy behind it when you're going to launch it, when you're going to put it out there when when are people when are you going to have a grand opening about it? So whether again, let's say 90 days out, you decide to have an event, three months from today, and you will go about the buzz, how would you get the buzz out there. So you're going to either I'm making this up as an example, you're going to get the right Intel, it's you're going to get people to be an ambassador and represent your your product. And they will be the ones to refer you know, to get the hype out there and to drive attention to your website so that people will see more about the program that you are going to launch soon.

And another way it could be, you're in that 90 days of marketing. You're going To cold call, are you going to hot call, you're going to reach out to your hot, warm and cold list. And this is when you're going to do it, you're going to do it once a week for an hour to promote your product and let them know that you know that exists, that's just going to be out in 90 days. And you want them to be the first ones to know and see if they are interested in pre pre buying. So maybe the product is not necessarily ready. Let's say the program is not even finished.

But she's always looking another great tip, you can always pre sell it, you can sell it and then when it's ready. This is what many people do when it comes to their books. And when they have their book launch. They will pre sell the book. So the book is dive into finished but they're using the money that they were able to pre sell on to put towards completing the book. So that maybe a better example, you have a book launch that you want to do.

And so while you're working on your book or in finishing it up, you're setting up Each week or each time of how you're going to get the buzz out there, whether again, having the ambassadors to to hype up the anticipation of your long awaited book, forthcoming work. You also are looking to reach out to different book distributors or places that your booking can Nestle in. That could be another way of marketing it. You're also looking to teach from it. You can teach it from a chapter that's already completed, or even talking about the whole synopsis of the book. And you're using your podcasts or your YouTube channel to teach on the on the principles or whatever you're talking about in your book.

That's another marketing strategy. So you are within a certain timeframe, going about each step in these plan these points, taking action, so that inevitably when you come out or your product and program comes out, you You already have made sells, you're and you're gonna make more sales now that it's out, and you have everybody now, salivating. I taught that in one of the lessons, you're now you may not be able to get the person or the horse to drink, so to speak, you were able to lead them, but you couldn't get them to drink, but you can create the thirst. And you can be the water. So not only just having a marketing strategy, but having it to be effective and efficient, strategic, so that it absolutely yields the results that you're looking for. relationship building and starting your business is about relationships, your network is your net worth that is true.

So establishing relationships with fellow colleagues, people who are in the same industry as you. It doesn't. It doesn't have to always be about competition. But it could be about collaboration. How do you help each other out? So with your competitor, who's to say that y'all can collaborate and actually come complement each other, where if you decide that the two of you decide to run a run an event, and where they're strong in and their skill sets, and you may have the same or similar skill set, but there may be something different that you can do.

Now, you're actually meeting a need on on that on the other end. So your colleague, your competitor, now colleague, can teach on the fundamentals of entrepreneurship. Whereas you come in, you're teaching more on the online platform, how can you develop entrepreneurship by way of zoom or by the internet, Facebook Live? I'm just making that up. But how is it that the two of you can complement each other based on your strengths and weaknesses? And that you can use that to your to both of your advantages to help really impact the lives again, it's not so much about that.

Slowly making your the to use pot pockets fat and fatter, but rather you are making an impact is more about them, and how you're helping to solve the problems that they have that the two of you are positioning yourself as the painkillers to their pain. So that's one that's another strategy in and of itself, but relationship building, saying who you can collaborate with and partnering together, but just make sure that you know your partner, because I gave a story in one of the lessons about my business coach who ended up going to jail because he didn't know all that his partner was doing. And he should have known because he did not know and he should have known he went to jail for it. But the blessing is that now he teaches us on what to do what not to do so that we don't go to jail.

So make sure that you in in getting to know your partners not let it just be a feeling. There's a difference between a discernment and a feeling like a feeling wow, you know this, this feels like great just to be with this person, but get to know them. Okay? That's all I'm saying. This is an extra tidbit. When it comes to starting your business and also money for ads, so raising the capital, crowdfunding, asking for endorsements, financial endorsements, looking to people, with friend, family or friends, colleagues that could fund your endeavors, you know, so needing the money, or requiring because I try to use I try, there's no such thing as I'll No, there's no such word as try or need.

That's just another conversation for another time, but I'm just putting it out there right now. Start to eliminate certain words from your vocabulary. For you to be successful, to start your business and to run it successfully. You have to have a different mindset, an abundant mindset. You have to flow in your abundance that you do have, and the word need and try falls into the categories of poverty mindset, and impoverished way of thinking and scarcity and desperation. So you require the money for ads So that you can promote your services, your product, your program, using social media platforms, Facebook ads, Instagram ads, so forth and so on.

So, as well as the traditional way of ads, you know, your company or your business may require billboards, advertising through the radio advertising through the newspaper. So making sure that you have the capital in the means raising the capital, asking for the capital, getting a business loan, doing what is necessary, so that you can now fully start your business effectively and efficiently and have it to sustain. Lastly, just do it. This is what it's all about taking massive action and when you're taking You're a massive action. You put yourself in position to fully start your business effectively and efficiently. But also making sure that your business is things with the without you and runs with it without you, and that it's making the impact that it was supposed to make it is to make in the years to come, not just now, but in future generations.

Doesn't that sound like a great plan? All with you simply doing it? It's time to start your business. So with that said, I thank you for your time your homework assignment is to create your launch strategy.
