Welcome back for another edition of the fundamentals of entrepreneurial development, the limitless lead her entrepreneur one on one. Today's lesson, we're all about knowing and understanding what is your why in business. We're still working on mindset. So thank you so much for joining me in your process of becoming a happy and successful entrepreneur. Welcome to the program. I am so excited for your success because you are at the right place at the right time.

I say this because I have compiled years worth of valuable content, proven systems from beloved and respected thought leaders from all over the world on how to run your business, it works. Let's now put the remaining 20% into massive action by learning and executing the profitable fundamentals of entrepreneurship. I'm really big on helping you to reframe, looking at things differently, what reframing means, and helping you to now position in such a way that you do things correctly, accurately, efficiently, effectively. Come in long term as well. You know, I'm here to help you to sustain not just to create your business but to sustain it. So you have to understand what is your why. What is your back end, and you're, you're back in and I said, behind your story, what is the back end behind your story?

When you're understanding or coming to know, why am I in business? What what made me decide to go into becoming an entrepreneur being a business owner, when you start to write it down, write the vision, make it plain when you start to journal, because when you're journaling, a lot of times we have been, you know, pre programmed to be politically correct. Although, at the time of this recording, I don't know what is considered politically correct. Although I need to just be objective, you didn't sign up for me share my political views. But nevertheless, it is a matter of says we have been programmed to to be politically correct, saying things right, saying things that's not called to go into a friend. When it comes to writing.

It's no holds barred is this if you can say whatever the heck you want to say on paper, and not be judged and ridiculed for your thoughts. So That being said, you should start to write down, free associate, whatever comes to mind, write it down. That that will help you to discover your why to be honest with you. So you need to now understand, to explore and to know what is your reason behind becoming an entrepreneur? What is the back end behind your story? What is the reason behind your why what is the reason behind you creating your business?

What makes you want to go into business? See, understand that you're entering into a new type of learning. Because I know this, if you're not learning, you're dying. So you're always forever in a day learning. And that's a great thing because that helps you with your grow. Here's some questions that I want to ask you is the saying powerful questions are powerful people ask powerful questions, powerful people ask powerful questions.

So let me ask you a powerful person and understanding your why. Let me ask you, what is your motivation? What drives You, what is your passion? What motivates you to start your business? What is your call to action? What is your results?

What is the goal that you're going after? What is your purpose behind you starting your business? What is your aim? What is your intention? Oftentimes we miss that mark. We don't seem to assign our efforts, our pursuit at all.

We just go ahead and do it because we see someone else doing it. We parrot after one another, as opposed to being the one that stands out above the rest. So start assigning every effort, every single work, objective, everything that you do, assign it with a purpose, an aim and intention, a goal. What is your aim behind you starting your business? What is your philosophy? What are your morals?

What are your standards? What do you stand by what Are these things when it comes to your business your WHY? So you understand that this program is designed to transform you into a real CEO and business as a business owner. I'm asking you these questions so that you can start so I can again empower you energize you get the juices flowing, to challenge you in your thinking, to remove or to at least identify the self sabotaging all the barriers and blocks, the way that your mindset is serving you to protect you, but yet keeps you stuck. I'm here to uproot those things to really challenge you in your comfort zone and your comfort level to get you to the next level of success of happiness, a freedom of limitlessness Otherwise, you'll be just like any other parts And to be honest with you, did you know that 90% of businesses, small businesses, or small businesses rather that, you know, for two to between two and five years, they end up closing out in their businesses.

So they started but then in two to five years, they have to close it they fail in business. Do you want to know why? Because they didn't have anyone perhaps asking them the right questions. Perhaps they didn't have that mentor in their lives to help them to show them the way. Perhaps they just didn't have the business structure in place. The things that you're learning right now to this program, to help to sustain the business, they may have had the idea to start it to make their money and call it a day but did not have everything in place, the proper components in place to sustain the business because in the past, they didn't think that far.

That's why you're ahead of the game because you have decided to invest in yourself through this magnificent program. So that Now you don't you can be a part of the 10%. That's the thing, even businesses is running past two and five years. Yes, this program is designed to help challenge you to transform you into an absolute real CEO, and business owner. We are here to help assess all the stuff, the stinking thinking, everything that held you back. And to start to and to start to make you reason with yourself as to what is the reason for doing business, start reasoning with yourself, what is your WHY?

And making sure that you understand the importance of understanding your why and the value that you bring to the marketplace so that you can move forward on this goal. You are very valuable. You're valuable to this world. It's time for you to see that to embrace that to accept that and to not hold back, your brilliance. Your knowledge Your wisdom, your life lessons, there are people who are out there waiting on you and willing to pay you top dollar for your message for your story for you to show up in their lives. My job is to help you challenge yourself to do above and beyond what you have ever dare to do.

Please understand, as I've helped to reframe your mindset is that you're going into business, not as a glorified hobby, not in doing and creating glorified hobbies, meaning that you're creating hobbies that you're not getting paid for. No, no, no, you're going to get paid for your brilliance for your value for your work, for the work that you provide to the marketplace to the entire world, but also making sure that you create a business that is viable, that is valuable, you may be valuable, but you got to make sure that your business which are Offering is also valuable. That is needed is wanted is coveted. We have to now explore that. And you discovering your why you have to have a business to make sure that it solves problems will fill a gap. So make sure that when you're creating your business, it is solving a problem.

So you have to do your research or market research on what is the gap out there in the market that you can fill. Not trying to do the same thing that everyone else is doing because it's already saturated oversaturated rather find find the gap. What is the gap? What is the problem that's out there, that you are the solution for? Again, it is a matter of you being different, not conforming, but you having the courage to stand out above the rest be cutting edge cutting edge, be a force to be reckoned with the household name being the best and what you do that people will remember you for You have to think as a business person and an entrepreneur, not an employee, that is a huge difference. I mentioned this in the last couple of lessons how one who is an employee has a different set of responsibilities than one that is a CEO.

You're both in a place of servitude of service, rather, what is it is another and how you're thinking and how you run and manage your responsibilities. And employee is, is pretty much managing the CEO whose vision you are the CEO, now you are the entrepreneur. So now you have to manage your own vision. With that being said, the decisions that you make, the responsibilities that you take on as an entrepreneur is totally different than one who is an employee so you cannot go into business. Still thinking as an employee when you once were an employee for someone else's vision and dream. Now it is a matter of Learning or applying what you've learned in the position of a CEO.

So make sure that you keep that in mind. You are in the business, I have to make money, you're in the business business to earn money. You are in the business to earn money. So understand this, this this concept is all about decency and an order. You are to profit first and then nonprofit, meaning you are in the business to make money first, honey. Then everything else after that falls into place, whether you're doing charity, charitable work, whether you're doing non revenue generating activities, whether you are putting time in where again, money is not exchanged for your value and your time.

You are to profit first. That is the heartbeat of a business. Your business will survive when money is going into it. You So, yes. So make sure that you keep that in view. It's okay.

I found a lot of heart based service based individuals who are saying, oh, without the Sara, it's the you know, it's the love of the game. This is me putting a smile on everyone's faces. That is my reward. Okay. Tell that to your utility company, when they're asking for you to pay for the utilities, to your mortgage. You know, when your mortgage companies Hey, it says that, you know, it's time for you to make your payment.

They're not receiving a payment of Okay, well, the joy of someone's face. The smile on someone's face is your reward that that's not that's not then that is something that form of payment. So you have to make sure that you have your business set up in such a way that you profit first, and then everything non revenue generating comes after yes or yes. All right. Still talking about your why and helping you to have the right mindset as you discover your why I added another one, don't go about this alone, you should at least have an accountability partner or a mentor or a coach. So you know not only but to yourself, you are here to be relational.

You have been we haven't created to be relational, to connect with one another. So that being said, it is about partnering. Look at your circle, look at your your look at your circle, look at those that you are connected to, and see where the two of you can partner who you can trust who is responsible, where the two of you have that type of entrepreneur, entrepreneurial spirit and mindset that you two can go into business together so that you can help share, you know the responsibilities and the profits. If you're one who have Respectfully, all the excuses in the world have not moving forward, then perhaps one way to help you to feel comfortable enough to move forward is to actually have a partner, an accountability partner, a mentor, a coach, someone who can hold you accountable and responsible for the actions that you take. So here is the formula.

It's as easy as dcba. You know how they say, you know, it's easy as 123 or ABC? Well, here it is the CD A, this is what I want you to do in helping you to have the right mindset so that you can discover your why and stick with your why. in everything that you do, you always have to make a decision for you to get unstuck, because it must be a horrible, horrible place to feel stagnant and stuck and not move because you're so afraid you don't know which way to go. But once you make a decision instead of straddling the fence, you do decide that you're not going to have one foot in, you know, working for someone else and one foot working for yourself. Because you're too afraid to go in and take the risk as a true entrepreneur, you're trying to hold on because you want to hold on to your benefits and you want to hold on to your life insurance you want to hold on to, you know, all that comes with the employee the perks of an employee, but you want to dabble in on what it's like to actually be your own boss.

Well, you have to make a decision which one you're going to do decide. So at least you can move whether you decide to stay remain as an employee, okay, that is your choice. It's your decision. It's okay. But please do not straddle the fence and be lukewarm is either you're going to be hot or cold. Truly.

So decide, that makes a world of difference even in your psyche and even in your momentum. Then the next so we have the D. Now see, commit, be committed, be all in. Don't be hardest with this when it comes to entrepreneurship, you have to be all in committed to the call. You have to make your decision and make it up in your mind to commit to this endeavor to your baby. You're growing it you're nurturing it for for you to see the full grown, full blown harvest of the and the fruits of your labor. So make a decision to commit the bee is Believe, believe in yourself, oh my gosh.

This will only work and last. If you believe in your own self. If you don't believe in yourself that you can do this. There's going to be rather challenging, there's going to be a lot of delays. I am telling you the truth because I was there. I was once there not believing in myself not believing in what people saw about me what they've seen in me.

I was aware, but I didn't have understanding I would counter it all the time with negative thoughts thinking, thinking, until I made I did the work until I started to reprogram my mind set myself consciousness, to first have a heart of gratitude and appreciation for who I am, and what I'm here for. What I have and where I'm going, when I started to add and develop a positive mindset, a gratitude mindset, full of appreciation and thankfulness, for who I am and the purpose of my existence. That's when things start to change. That's when I started to really start to believe in myself, I started to see my own value and worth, I wasn't depending upon anyone else to tell me who I was and what I had to offer and the value and the value in the work that I had. I didn't need anyone to validate that anymore.

It was it was if anything, if they'd done that, it was just an added bonus. It was It started with me believing in myself. So I implore you to believe in yourself. change your mindset around. If you are one who is always doubting who thinks negatively will always see in criticism who who's always finding fault. It is a matter of changing that type of mindset.

When it comes to entrepreneurship when it comes to your why it is a matter of changing reprogramming your subconsciousness you can check on videos with that you can go on YouTube for doing you know the work in terms of changing your mindset. You have to commit to the call. You have to be all in not half heartedly with this you have to be all in, in entrepreneurship. For you to discover and to know and to understand your why you have to believe in yourself. change your mindset so that you can now believe in yourself not holding on as a crutch of others belief in you win you still not really fully receiving how and what they believe in you about you have to believe in yourself for this to work. And so that was the D the C the B and now we are at a action yet take massive action here with you. Once you have decided that you're going to move forward in entrepreneurship Once you have decided to commit to the call what you have decided to believe in yourself, you now have to take action on it.

Faith without works is dead Yes. So if you really believe in yourself you're going to take all the steps necessary to operate and your why to run your business. So that is the D The see the BMA decide commit, believe and take action to have the right mindset and to know and discover your why. Alright, so here we are with your homework assignment, I want you to write down your commitment and guarantee to the client that you serve. So I want you to write down your commitment and guarantee to the client to the clients that you serve. So you know that even if you have you ever surfed the internet and you were looking for a product or a service or program such as an FTD program, and you're looking to become an entrepreneur or business owner, and you want to be a successful one.

So you decided to me Invest in yourself through this product and service by which the fine print or the dotted line. The bottom line for you was you want it to guarantee you want it a guarantee that you will be successful through the program, then likewise, you need to guarantee you need to be fully committed to the call for your client. So if you're looking to run your business and have clients, then what are they thinking one, what is the guarantee that you are going to give them that you're going to be full in all in and making sure that they get the results that they're looking for? Now there is a difference between you working harder than them, you know, the work has to be from them. The results that they're looking for comes from them just as much as the results that you're looking for is going to come from you.

So we're partnering together, but you have to be really more committed. We can be committed all day long, more, more, more so for you, but you have to be committed. But in turn, that's what you're helping your clients to know that you are committed to the call you are all in and helping them to get the results that they're looking for. So write down your commitment and guarantee to the clients that you serve. The next homework assignment is write out all the doubts and the naysaying that has ever been said about you doing business and then challenge it to see if it's true or false.

So in other words, if people have said to you, oh, I don't see you as a business owner, oh, you'll never make it. Oh, you know, grandma and granddad. They all try to do it and they all fail. So it's guaranteed that you're going to fail to whatever doubts that has been said to you. Write them down. And then I want you to challenge it.

One way or challenging it is asking you asking yourself the question. Remember powerful people ask powerful questions. So ask the powerful questions. Okay, well, grandma and granddad You know, grandma and pop up, couldn't make it. They didn't do a great job. But does that mean that I won't just because I'm a part of their lineage?

Does that mean that I'm going to automatically fail because my my last name is Smith, because their last name was Smith and they failed? Or is it that all I got to do is do X, Y, and Z, all I got to do is do opposite of what they've done and I will be successful. You have to challenge those naysayers. You have to challenge all the doubts. And if it posed that, all of the all of it is not true that you absolutely can be and become the entrepreneur that you have been born designed to become. Then Hey, that is your momentum that is where your energy lies to go full force into entrepreneurship.

And knowing your why understanding your why and operating in it. The next homework assignment I want you to do for the beginners out there, please call the IRS Internal Revenue Service and get your EIN number. Your employee identification number please Oh, it's gonna be, it's gonna be such a great time when you actually get that you're going to be so happy. I remember having a client of mine, when I I pushed to Oh, I probably had to push her. Don't tell her that. She's probably listening.

But yeah, she, she, you know, she was dragging her feet in calling the IRS. Oh my goodness. And I'm like, Girl, just go ahead and call them. The whole thing is was it was becoming real for her. So it's understandable that you may perhaps drag your feet but I'm not. I'm not allowing that.

You need to go ahead and get your E and number so that you can fill and become a full fledged entrepreneur is real when you get it. Yes, yes, yes. And then I want you to develop an intake form and agreement. So start working on it. And please do the Google that you can look in and at other antique forums that's out there.
