Welcome back. This is another edition of the fundamentals of entrepreneurial development, the limitless leader, entrepreneur one on one class. I'm so excited for your success because you are at the right place at the right time. I say this because I compiled years worth of valuable content and proven systems from a loved and respected thought leaders from all over the world, how to run their businesses and guess what it works. With that said 80% of success is just showing up. So congrats to you kudos.

Let's go ahead and put together the remaining 20% into massive action by learning and executing the profitable fundamentals of entrepreneurship. This is Dr. Sarah Renae. If you haven't noticed by now I talk very very, very fast. I tell myself to slow down. It could be my where I come from where I grew up at. You know people in the north up north. Many of us talk very fast, no excuse but just want to put it out there. I do talk fast and there are times I do stumble over my words.

And I could say is your cup of excitement but I have an honor, because I don't take this lightly. I've always said this to every client that I work with that you are interesting. You you're interesting, your baby your your business in my care. And so I never take it lightly when my path crosses someone else's. And I take it as an honor and a privilege to serve you. So I'm very passionate and teaching you and mentoring you and guiding you through this program, or bringing you to the forefront bringing you to light and heavy this shines so bright with your gifts and your talents and with your business to help impact the masses to go further along than I ever had.

But I'm sure you're saying well Sarah, okay, that's great. just slow down. So I just want to acknowledge that to put the put it out there. That there times that that's going to happen, that I'm showing my human side. And while I know how I can be, I am the type of person that I want everything to be perfect. So I don't know if I would look at it as an excuse or look at it as Okay, it's unacceptable.

You're supposed to be a professional, all I just want to acknowledge the objections or anything that may be a hindrance to you receiving the great information. So I apologize for that. I'll make sure that I do better. And at the same time, I just want to make sure that you are focused. Nevertheless, while I'm doing my part to slow down and to take my time and still be excited and passionate in what I do in providing this service to you through this program. In turn, focus on the content in the information and how you can apply it in your life when it comes to you establishing Creating for me and moving your business forward.

I'll slow down and still be passionate and excited while you focus solely on the content and the information and how you can apply it to your entrepreneurial pursuits and getting your business out there in the marketplace. Okay, cool. So my objective is to help teach you the business strategy surrounding a successful and sustainable business as a real CEO. So let's go ahead and begin. How to successfully establish your business. Get systems in place, such as something I've used in the past MailChimp and kajabi you can google those. But these are some great bonus tips right now. There is something out there called automation. Where if you have the system in place to automate your business, have your business run itself.

You will save such a world of you'll say you make such a world of difference in your in your life. You'll save time, money resources, just by having everything automated. automation, meaning having it to go out automatically. Let's say When it comes to your email marketing when it comes to the program, so while everything is pre recorded, and everything is set up where I'm not showing up live for you, other than when it's time to do a q&a session, this will run itself is an evergreen. It runs itself over and over and over for as long as I allow it for as long as you want it and need it and as long as it's relevant. So you want to establish a business where automation is key, okay, when it comes to setting up your systems, and using a mail service, an email service like MailChimp, where everything is automated, you can just create the content that you need, schedule it and let it send it you know, send out when it's scheduled, where you don't have to constantly write something, put an email together and have to manually send it all the time.

You can save yourself time and money and resources by having in finding those type of systems. The job is the same way in terms of Having your program. So let's say that you want to establish your own fundamentals of entrepreneur development course. And kajabi is positioned to be that platform where you can create your content, your PowerPoint presentations, your videos, put it in to kajabi, schedule it or have it to be ready for people to purchase your program. And they can go through your program just like how you're going through mine. So those are two that I've used that have been great to use MailChimp and kajabi especially when you're on a fundamental, fundamental entrepreneurial development budget.

So yeah, definitely check those out. Another way is establishing your businesses getting funded. So you can look into getting a business loan, you can look into raising capital, you can look into talk to people We'll talk to family and friends and see if they can find you, you know, they can actually sponsor you or they can go into paying for certain things that you need for establishing your business. So that that would help you to further your vision forward, yes or yes. So looking into getting funded, there are various ways that you can do that crowdfunding, you can look into that a little bit more, being able to put a promotion out there, where you are requesting funds to support your dream into running your business, proving and in helping others to know the reason behind your business and why there is a need for it to exist, that perhaps will move people to action to fund your business to sow a seed into your business to see your vision move forward.

So looking into getting funded is another way to establish a business, hot, warm and cold markets. So people who you have a great relationship with would be considered as a hot hot market. In other words, having a list of people that you that that knows like and trust you that you have a great relationship with that you can ask them and helping you to establish a business, whether through funding, whether through donations or endorsements or connections. However, they can help you. hotlist will also be potential clients, those who have been following you for some time and they are really interested in your service. I'm really interested in in when you're going to establish your business.

So you definitely want to reach out to those individuals who may quickly say yes to your product, your service in your program. More markets could be mutual friends, people who refer them to you, friendships that you have or colleagues that can refer your business. They will begin As a warm market, you may not be directly tied and connected to them but because of the people that you're connected to those particular people that can be a prospect or potential client, they're all believe the person that you're connected to, if they swear by you, your friends were swears by you if your colleagues swears by you, then that may be enough for that person to consider hear what you have to say concerning your product or service or program. Call market could be people that you have no connection with, you do not know them, you have to do cold calling, you have to pitch your idea to an organization or a decision making that you have no relationship with little so classified as cold markets.

But nevertheless, you can still gain potential clients, whether it's hot, warm or cold. But that's one another way to establish a business to get the clients right to go after prospects and turn them into clients. How to establish a business, you need to know that the fortune is in the ask and in the follow up. So when you are Now establishing your business and you're connecting with your hot, warm and cold markets know that follow up is key, the fortune is in the follow up, for sure. And I'm so passionate in saying that because of the fact that I have been one who has not been who has not followed up enough or locked at one at one point in time, I looked at it as my excuse was, I was so busy with so many other things. I was so busy with non revenue generating activities, oh my gosh, that I did not follow up, and therefore I left a lot of money on the table.

So definitely follow up, have a system in place. We just talked about that with MailChimp as being one that you can use to follow up with. You can have something like a scheduler. We talked about that in one of the lessons and being a beginner entrepreneur where you have your schedule or you can plan on appointments to talk with people. So that now and then you can also have a setup where automatic reminders are sent to them and to you in terms of in return in regards to your appointment and the potential opportunity to turn that prospect into a client. So definitely making sure that you have the systems in place to automate and helping you to follow up or having an assistant to help follow up for you.

If you are so bogged down with so many things in life, because any business so definitely make sure that you follow up, okay? Because the fortune is there. And also in the ask you don't know until you ask, ask for the sale. It is okay to ask a lot of times as a colleague of mine I had taught on this on call is called rejection therapy. You know, we have a challenge, or we have a problem with being told no. And that's real.

That actually exists in terms of having a problem with being told no However, then when you reframe it and shift your mindset to look at it differently, instead of taking it as rejection, you look at it as Alright, they just, you know, my program may not be for everyone, but it is for someone. And with that being said, the more that you focus, you shift your mindset on the positive on what you want to see happen, what you want to see produce, then the more competent and the more inspired and empowered you are to open your mouth and ask for the sale. And to your surprise, they may say yes, and hey, that's a win win win for everybody. Yes, it's just for you, for them and for the people that they also are connected to, that they can also be a blessing to. So remember those things.

The key is fortunate in the follow up and it's already the power of asking is okay to ask for the sale. And establishing your business. You want to get your audience attention. Now there's a saying in terms of all publicity is good publicity. bad publicity is good publicity. When in talking about getting the audience attention, it's about being disruptive, not always having to conform and follow the status, you know, doing the status quo and following after what others are doing, but rather you standing out you being that rebel or in other words, not even so much being rebellious, but being someone who is different, who is unique.

You in and of yourself, you are unique and you bring so much to the table. Now it's a matter of getting their attention because, hey, you can be so great in what you do. But if you're not visible, if you're not, I'm not even so much credible. But if you're not visible if people don't know that you exist, then sorry, you won't get business. Instead of hating on those individuals like I was hitting on individuals who may seem To be mediocre at best, but yet they have so much visibility out there that is sustainable, that they can get business because of whatever they're doing, they're great at marketing themselves. You have to market yourself, you have to really go out there and put yourself out there.

And being disruptive. I mean, one quick way of getting their attention is being disruptive. And being disruptive in the sense of challenging them, challenging their limits, challenging their comfort zone, challenging their mediocrity, you know, challenging what they're not doing. Because there may be people who are, you know, praising them. And while they're being praised for things that they're not doing, like, praise for being average, being praised for whatever it is, you know, just telling them whatever they want to hear. That's not moving them forward.

They need to be challenged. And your it your business is the challenger, your business is the one that will be the agitator to move people out of their comfort zones, and to go after their limitless possibilities and opportunities that's out there. So be known to as the one who challenges because you really have a heart to see them succeed and to be successful and to be happy and to be home and to be healed and to be complete and to be delivered. I know that's my heart for you. This is why I do what I do is that I definitely want you to be a force to be reckoned with. I definitely want you to position your business to be a blessing to others and to serve them wholeheartedly.

There's such a sense of accomplishment when you focus on the goal, the overall and bigger picture as opposed to where you are right now. or looking at others and where they are and hating on them and shading them while you're still at the sidelines. No no, no One way to quickly establish a business is to get their attention. And one quick way to get their attention is to be the challenger to be the disrupter to be someone who is different in the marketplace and saying something totally different. That's going to transform their lives. And establishing your business.

Think about the demographics, the psychographics and the social graphics. So think about the demographics, their location, where are they where, where in the world, are they, you know, well, if you're in the States, what location what area? Do you want to focus on? Is it the Midwest? And is it the South? Is it New York City, the Philadelphia where do you want Where are your clients?

Where are your target market? Where are they at? psychographics their lifestyle? what appeals to them? Do they travel do do they like Ted Talks? Do they drink coffee at Starbucks, knowing their size psychographics their personality and their tastes, their lifestyle, what appeals to them social graphics, their socio economic status, how much do they make?

Where do they work? What type of work do they do? knowing those aspects will help you while you while you're establishing your business that will help position you to be the goal to the expert, the one who really knows your clients so well without them having to say a word. Doesn't it feel great when someone just gets you? When you like, wow, they get me they understand me. They know me that develops such a great sense of trust in you.

This will help while you establish your business, the way that you get established and being known for what you do and who you are. When it comes to your business, that it breeds the know like and trust factor in you. They will now They feel like they know you, they can trust you, and they can give you their money, their hard earned cash, because they see you as the paint killer to their pain. Because you took the time to get to know them, you took the time to find out whether you are you got you took the time to see what they like. Yeah, that is the way to go while establishing your business. And the way of establishing your business is having lead generators and opt ins.

So what are they creating a product a product or, or service or a program in such a way where it generates leads. So the opt in is where you have an example would be a free report on something that will capture your target audience attention, something that they need that they could it's like a do it yourself. They can just follow the step by step. Something simple, is not elaborate. It's not going in like that. It's not going into To too deep into explaining or whatever it is the information that you're putting out there, that is just enough to capture their attention.

So in order for them to receive that free report, so, for example, they will have to trade off with their name and email just like you did here. And then once you do that, so here's the here's the back end of how to establish a business. So once you create the opt in for them to give you their email and, and phone number, their email and name as well as phone number, so that you can be able to connect with them in various ways. They will get their free report, in that free report, though, will help to capture the person's attention where you can provide another free lead, like a webinar, a free three part training series like I did To then talk and explain a little bit deeper than what your report your your free PDF that you put out there could teach, you now have the opportunity in the platform to establish yourself as the thought leader, as the go to expert in teaching the content to your target audience who had opts in and wanted to know to know and to learn more about you and the information that you have provided for them.

By which tours that way, you can then enroll them into your program, or let them know about your service and they hire you for that service. But it all starts with a lead generator, creating a product or program or a report something that could be free. that generates the lead that gets their attention, by which when you have it position, let's say on social media, that you have a free report this teaching on how to breed dogs or Labradors In particular, then they will opt in, they will trade out their name and email and phone number for that free report. So make sure that you look into creating free my one coaches will call it cupcakes. The free report their free cupcake, that's going to generate the leads that you're looking for particularly of your target market your target audience and have the option of them to be able to trade off their valuable information such as their name and their email.

For that free report. That free report is so appealing, that they just have to grab it and then you go from there. Another way that you established your business is create valuable content where writing and worth reading. Need I add, so create valuable content, do your research, but also your life lessons, your story your message, people will pay you top dollar for your message and your stuff. Because they want to know, well, how did you do it, but you know, because if you were able to do it, that means I can too. So blogging, doing video blogs, putting content out there, again, helping you to become more and more visible.

Doing Facebook Lives at the time of this recording. You know, Facebook Lives are the go to zoom, using something called zoom, to do your videos to do live webinars, being able to create valuable content that will transform people's lives that will capture their attention that will at least move them to action is always a great way while establishing your business to be established as that thought leader as that go to expert. You can find what information that's out there that people are buzzing towards, in particular, is something in particular that can help your business, finding articles, seeing which articles using certain buzzwords. In the say, relationships, maybe a buzz, word love, maybe your buzzwords, see what articles are created along those lines and what type of traction is getting, it's getting 1 million shares, you know, in terms of that particular article, then you want to see how did they position their article? What did they write about that perhaps you can do something similar. You can write similar content, not exact content, that's plagiarism, but similar concepts. That especially if you didn't give them you know, the kudos for the fact that they wrote something and you're almost saying the exact same thing. Rather, you're going to do different, you're going to write your own content.

And it's going to be similar using similar buzz words that will also drive people to share your content. Again, building the visibility, so then people can drive and come back to your website because you're gonna put that information in in that article or content that you're creating, so that they can get to know who you are, what you do, and what type of service you provide for them, that will help them to solve their problem. Do you see the system? Another way in establishing yourself and your business is to build again the credibility and visibility. So getting yourself out there, doing your videos, doing your content, even if you are an introvert, even if you're someone who is shy. I mean, there are so many different quote unquote introverts out there who are killing it in the game right now because of the fact that they are doing. They're creating great, wonderful content that makes a difference in someone's life that desperately That's engaging, that captures attention.

And they're being true to themselves because they may be the type of person who would rather do small groups one on one, and that's okay. If you're still making your money you're making your bank It is okay. But the more that you're doing it and the more that you're building and establishing yourself as a go to expert, and beloved thought leader, the more credibility that you're building. So the point that now people definitely will know like and trust you to the point that they will trade their money for your time or trade their money for the value that you bring to their lives, for the fact that you are the painkiller to their pain. So keep that in mind. I mentioned this already.

Ways that you can establish yourself as the go to expert is through Facebook Lives, YouTube videos, using zoom for your webinars and Instagram Using the social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram link in, depending on your target audience. So for instance, my target market and my target audience they frequent link in. So there's different demographics or different, you know, age groups that frequent and utilizes these different platforms, with Instagram, with Facebook, with Twitter with LinkedIn. So you want to get to really know your target market, your target audience, and where do they frequent, what social media platforms would they be going or are they on so that you can go right there to where they are, and get their attention with your content with your you know, the great information, your lead generators, so yes, make sure that you are out there as often as possible to build up your visibility and to inevitably build your credibility to overall make your bank to get your clients.

Oh, and this is also an awesome one, too. Establish a business or to establish yourself as a thought leader and go to expert. What better way to do that, then through testimonials. Remember when I said earlier about asking is nothing wrong with asking asking for the sale, ask for testimonials. Here's one great bonus. This is what I share with my high end clients.

You can do some something for free. You can. This has always been the HMO way of doing it. But it still works to date. Create something for free, right? create a group, a focus group and enroll people in it, whether it's family friends, I would say rather go after people who you may not necessarily know they don't necessarily know you that well, to the point that you make it more of the respect.

Well, what you're bringing to the table as opposed to family and friends and they say that they know you and therefore they're not really taking you seriously, because I remember they remember you when you were three years old. kicking your little baby brother down the steps. I know how can you do that? Three, that means baby brother me them too. I'm really telling them myself. That's a true story.

But anyway, you rather get people who don't really know you like that. So creating a focus group, and doing some type, maybe, let's say, a three to five week training for about 30 minutes teaching on the content that you desire to teach. That's going to help solve a problem. So the point that now in the three to five weeks that you're teaching, you're asking for testimonials. You're getting the testimonials from these individuals that you can put on your website. They're swearing by your character, they're swearing by your content, you're swearing by your business.

That's always a quick and easy way to go. While you are creating your business and you're starting off in one, but as well as even if you're If you're a novice at this, if you're a beginner entrepreneur, this is another great way to do it. Don't look at Because see, there's a difference between having a mindset of scarcity, a scarcity mindset, versus an abundant mindset. So instead of looking at it like okay, well, what I'm in the business to make money, that's a Sarah, that's what you've been saying, and every single lesson, this is what you're saying every lesson that I'm in the business to make money. So if that's the case, or earn money, but if that's the case, why am I giving my services for free, because it is a strategy. It's a strategy.

You are looking to build credibility and visibility. And it's great to get it from people. So this to me iterate that asking for the sale and following up fortune is in the follow up, that really helps and makes a world of difference in your business so that you can sustain your business. Yes, because anybody can start a business is another to sustain it. It's another to master, this entrepreneurial lifestyle, so that now with or without you and with and without you, your business continues to run and impact lives while simultaneously providing the lifestyle that you desire and deserve. So with that said, I want you to write out as this is your homework assignment. Write out your hot, warm and cold list of individuals and start setting up to ask whether it is for funding. It's time to put your list together.
