When we do what we want instead of listening to God, we’re basically saying we can handle our situation better than he can. So we forfeit the protection that comes with being obedient.
Money can’t solve your problems if you’re outside of God’s will. God knows everything we need and he is our ultimate provider. We have to put our trust in him, not a paycheck.
