My secret habit. In this video, I will tell you about a habit that I have. That bothers a lot of people. At first, I talked about it and advise others to apply it, but they thought I was nuts. Still, this is the habit that helps me. Aim straight for my goals.

We did help I make the right choices, and it keeps me stress free. The habit is called selective ignorance for six years now, I never read the news. Unless I'm in a queue somewhere, and I don't have something better to read. I don't own a TV. I have never bought a newspaper or a magazine in all these years, not even when I'm on a long trip by train or by plane. Does this sound weird?

I am an informed citizen, and I know the present situation in my country as well as abroad. How do I do it? I will tell you in a second First, I want you to promise me to implement this have been for a week. I'm not asking you to separate yourself from your TV for a whole month, nor not to ever read the news again, all I am asking you is to try to keep an information diet for a whole week. What are the advantages? success in life has a single ingredient action.

If you don't act, you miss out on opportunities and you don't make it to your goal. When you watch the news on TV, you're receiving information actions means to apply that information. Every moment of your life you have to choose between learning and applying. You can do both at the time. You can watch TV and work on your projects at the same time. make an informed decision for the next week and concentrate on acting instead of on receiving information.

Notice the difference and then while being informed choose the one you prefer. How I keep up with the latest news. First of all, the discussions are My co workers always resolve around the most important subject of the day. It pre selects the most important information from the list of news of the day. Once a month, I also read the titles of the most important news. Why should I waste 1020 minutes a day to read about something that recently started on the news, when I can see how it all ended amongst later, I basically skip the whole drama and the whole movie, and only watch the ending.

In public transport, I usually listen to audio books, or I read a book. I sometimes read the news on my phone, but only when I'm at a five minute queue. This way, I haven't missed any piece of news for the past six years, and I save time that I invested in my personal development. I did the same thing with the TV. If I don't watch the news, and considering that I can watch movies on my computer, and I'm not really interested in ADS then What good is a TV for? Apply this information diet for a week, you will see how you get some more free time for yourself and for your life.
