Have you ever studied chemistry and there you were trying to remember all of those names to get a better grade on the test repeating the names of the elements dozens of times while still getting them wrong. I relate to that. So here's how you can memorize the first 10 elements of the periodic table in a few minutes. So the elements are either gene helium, lithium, beryllium, boron, carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, fluorine, and neon. As you learn in the previous lessons, you know, you have to transform the words you want to remember into pictures that are vivid and easy to memorize. So here are my associations.
I do gene water bottle, helium balloon, lithium batteries, beryllium bear Boren boards carbon diamonds, nitrogen, night oxygen, oxygen mask, fluorine, brushing teeth, and finally neon neon lights. Again, you can create a story with a send words. Or you can place these send words in different places in your home or in another location. But let's create a story. You can close your eyes and imagine this. Imagine someone throwing a water bottle into the river.
The bottle lands on top of a balloon that starts to take off. The balloon has big batteries that allow it to fly so high. inside the balloon you see something kind of weird. It's a bear but even stranger you see the bears surfing in the board. It's the board made of diamonds. And because it is so precious and night appears and tries to steal it is flying so high that he has an oxygen mask to breathe.
But certainly he takes the mask off starts brushing his teeth. He smiles and Keith teeth are shining like neon lights. Now pause the video and see if you can still build this story in your mind because it was a story that I created. It won't be so easy for you to memorize. But when you create your own stories, it's much easier and you probably can do it very quickly.
