Welcome to ultimate drumming calm. I'm Jim McCall. And I'm going to show you another great sounding eighth dog rock and roll beat. person. I'm going to play it for you at several different tempos that we're going to break it down note by note and show you how it works. In order to play this great sound and rock beat, first of all you need to count eighth notes, eighth notes for counted one and two and three and four.

And I'm going to start by playing the ride pattern with my right hand either on the ride cymbal or the closed hi hat, playing eighth notes. One and two, and three, four, and one and, two and three and four The left hand is going to be playing on beach two and four. So every time I say two and four, I'm going to be playing left hand. One, and three and three. Three. bass drums can be played on beats one and, and beats three and I'm going to coordinate it all together.
