Is it a good idea to take acting class if you want to be better at your on camera skills now, at first blush that seems to make a lot of sense. actors are in front of the camera, they perform they communicate with emotion. So why wouldn't a good spokesperson, author expert want those same skills? Here's the thing. I have found that acting lessons can actually make someone worse, can make you seem phony, artificial, contrived. It's really, really easy for people anywhere in the world to spot bad acting, because we're all used to seeing great world class acting all the time.

Whether it's your famous French movie stars, bollywood, or Hollywood movie stars, we're used to seeing good acting. So when there's someone who's an amateur actor, it stands out. In my experience, people who do best, do best because they're not acting. They're just talking the way they do when they're in normal. conversation when they care about something. So, if it's really a passion of yours to study acting, I'm not telling you don't do it but do not take acting class as a way of using your time most effectively to improve your presentation skills, my advice, use that time to rehearse talking about whatever it is you want to talk about.
