I want to take some pressure off your back, make this whole task simpler. When it comes to answering questions in interviews, most people put too much pressure on themselves and they tell themselves, I have to control this interview gain control. I want to control this reporter. No, you don't. You do not have to control the interview. You don't have to control the reporter.
There's only one thing you have to control your own mouth. If you control your own mouth, you're going to be in great shape. When I look at some of the most famous people in the world who have destroyed their careers, ruin themselves because of bad quotes, horrible sound bites, occasionally, sometimes my own clients. It's never because of what the reporter said. It's what came out of their own mouth. That's what gets people into trouble.
Once you realize that it simplifies things. And you can focus on what really matters not trying to control other people. Just control your own mouth.
