The next big category of video you should be creating that will help you generate more PR is evergreen content. By that I mean stuff that isn't specific to anything in the news, anything that isn't timely. But something that is going to be good now six months from now two years from now it's evergreen. So where do you get the ideas for this content, it's really stuff you say, on a regular basis. If you are an energy expert, and people hire you to reduce their energy bills, you probably say a lot of stuff over and over and over again, you have to have caulking around all your Windows, or you're gonna lose a lot of energy. You've got to make sure that your blinds have you know, I'm not an expert on that.
But whatever it is, if you're an energy expert, there's a whole lot of stuff you have to say, if not every day, every week. We'll just put that down in video. Your frequently asked questions, put it in a video format. I do media training and public speaking training. So I've actually created thousands of videos on that subject. You know, I've got videos on how to look your best on camera.
So I tell people don't sit up straight, you look scared, stiff, nervous and have a double chin. So I've got all this content. Now anyone video doesn't generate a flood of media calls. But if you have enough content, that you start to show up in the YouTube algorithms and their search engine, for when people type that phrase in that's relevant to your business, then journalists could find you there. I've had many, many inquiries from journalists who simply typed in media training on YouTube. Hundreds of millions of videos popped up, but typically mine's the number one search I have a handful of the top 10 at any point and they call me Why are my numbers number one because I do a lot of them and that's generated placements lengthy placements on The Daily Show on Comedy Central major networks and newspapers around the world.
So evergreen content, catalog, your expertise. Now there's a lot of other good reasons for doing this too, but it will generate more publicity for you.
