Welcome to ultimate drumming.com I'm Joe McCall. I'm going to show you this really cool sand and 16th note fill first I'm gonna play for you. Then we're gonna break it down and show you how it works. In order to play these great sounding 16th notes, you got to be thinking 16th notes 16th notes were counted, one E and two E and three E and four E. And when I'm playing 16th notes, I'm going to play on every syllable that I say I'm going to use alternating strokes. It's gonna go like this, what E and two E and three E, and four is going to be placed on the quarter notes. So every time I say beats one To three or four, I'm gonna be playing the foot.

It's gonna go like this. What and, and, and when playing this bill, I'm playing continuous 16th notes on the snare drum. But each time I get to a number, I'm gonna play the number on the cymbal or you also the quarter note on the cymbal. It's gonna go like this. Add the bass drum on the quarter notes or the numbers. This is gonna add a little bit of muscle to the whole thing.

It's gonna sound like this. An excellent way to practice this great sounding 16th note fill would be to play two measures to measure 16th fill two measures to measure 16th fill There it is another excellent sounding 16th note bill that you can add to your drumming repertoire. I'm Joe McCall. Thanks for watching. I'll see you soon at ultimate drumming calm
