DESCRIPTION: Various Paths of YogaYoga has many overlapping and interconnecting paths, dealing with various aspects or factors of health and well-being and evolutionary journeys. These are:-Karma Yoga - also known as Karma marga, is one of the three spiritual paths in Hinduism, based on the "yoga of action". To a karma yogi, right action without the desire for the fruits is a form of prayer and Sadhana. Of the various paths to spiritual liberation in Hinduism, karma yoga is the path of selfless action (niskam karma).
Hatha Yoga - Hatha yoga is the most commonly practiced path of yoga in the West. The Sanskrita term HATHA is derived from the Sanskrit HA, meaning "sun," and THA, meaning "moon." The Hatha yoga Sadhana aims to balance and unite the two opposing energies to attain a perfect polarity. Hatha Yoga includes cleansing practices, Asanas, Kriyas, Mudras, Pranayama, Relaxation techniques and some Dharna or concentration practices for our body, prana, mind and soul.
