You've created many chat account, then you were able to connect your Facebook page to many chat. It's now time to share your new channel across your social media assets. Let's go back to the chat marketing framework. First, what is your objective? Let's say to educate and spread awareness that your product and services exist in the marketplace. One way many chat can help us to get a shareable link to include on your posts and social media channels.
Now that we have the objective, the next question is what are the functions needed? You've got to add navigation guides like buttons and quick replies based on the responses and information you'll give. Let's say you want to welcome your audience with a freebie. Let's use a PDF guide. For example. In this example, we don't need any third party integrations.
Let's say your audience demographics are women aged 25 to 35 who love yoga. Our delivery will be short and sweet since you're just saying Starting to introduce yourself. You can also add a follow up message to see how did they find the guide you share to them then you can offer another free resource like a blog post or article that talks about yoga. So how you can create a shareable link out of this example. First logged back into your mini chat account. From Dashboard tab, scroll down a little bit to look for growth tools.
Click on growth tools, you'll see a blue button that says new growth tool on the top right corner of your screen. Click on that button to see the different growth tool you can choose from. Scroll down and look for messenger ref URL. Click on it. You can name the widget by clicking on it and typing your desired name. Below it you can see two tabs one says opt in actions and the other one says set up you'll go back to the Setup tab once you're done publishing the message below opt in actions you'll see Edit tab.
Click on it to edit the message. Now you're ready to design your message. You can simply greet them, personalize it using their first name. You can add an image by clicking the image feature below. The image can be a jpg, png or GIF file. When you're ready to give the PDF guide, add a button by clicking the Add button below each message.
Name the button like download the guide, then choose send message when this button is pressed. You can add a text delay effect by clicking on delay feature. It will show a dancing three dots to your subscriber, then click the File feature to add your PDF guide. It will open your file explorer so you can choose the file you will give to your subscriber. Just be mindful that the maximum file is 20 megabytes. You can also add some text that says hope you enjoy the guide.
You're now ready to publish. You can also hit the Preview button first before publishing. Just follow the instructions it says then you'll experience how your subscribers will receive your messages. If you're happy with how it goes just hit the publish button. Now let's get the shareable link. On the top of the screen you'll see the word widget beside it, you'll see the name that you gave to this growth tool.
Click on it. So you'll see the Setup tab where you can get the messenger ref URL that you can insert to your posts and other social media channels. Let your creativity shine
