Eating more of the wrong stuff can actually elevate these achy feelings in your body and scramble up your hormones and your transmitted even more. It's actually quite simple. When you've experienced a trauma, you need to adjust your eating habits and your lifestyle to really support yourself in your healing. There's a lot of things you can do and change in your diet in particular, that can get you back on track. So there's a couple of principles first and foremost, make sure you get yourself a really good cortisol reduction supplements. If you don't know what that is, you can go to your local pharmacy, Ask your pharmacist or go to a health store and ask them as well.

Serotonin levels which are the happy hormones, they can also be controlled through diet and supplements in particular. So focus on getting more vitamin C and omega three fatty acids and eating more complex carbohydrates instead of eating sugary foods. So what I mean by that is eat more sweet potatoes, starchy veggies, like you know rutabaga, potatoes, beetroot, that kind of thing. Lots of vitamin D and omega three fatty acids things like oily fish, salmon, mackerel, avocados that will also help your specific tissue salts you can use which can also be quite effective for storing the salts in yourself. They can be depleted through the hormonal imbalance. If you go to a house food shop and ask them what are the range of tissue salts that are they get the ones that have a reduction in stress and in anxiety and the ones that help you sleep a bit better.

There's a range of tissue salts and you'll see in the workbook we actually give you some suggestions as well. Ensure you eat at regular intervals throughout the day. Do not give meals or your body will also release cortisol. So keep all your workouts under an hour.

At the one hour mark. your testosterone levels will begin to decline and the cortisol levels begin to rise. So your 45 minute workouts are even better. I would recommend doing something that's more fun kind of upbeat. So things like Zumba or, you know, jumping around with like a bit of a music video or, you know, a class that's being laid by an instructor. These kind of classes are much better than just running for an hour and a half or pounding the treadmill or really, really hardcore weights, that is going to be quite difficult for you to remain stable and focused in your healing.

Another tip is maca root powder that also reduces cortisol levels and restores the adrenal glands to help use stress reduction techniques as well.
