Course Introduction

Transcript

And Hello and welcome to Al's electronic classroom. This is out in his stuff, my cutie black lab vests. And we've just finished a new course that we put on this platform called semiconductor basics, Introduction to diodes and transistors. And in this course here we go into the basics of semiconductor material. We talk about the proper bias voltage levels of diodes and then we get into transistors we talk about the semiconductor rough characteristics. Basically how a transistor is made, is it a PNP or an NPN we give you the three elements of a transistor, base emitter, collector and The three common configurations of a transistor common emitter, common collector and common base.

And again the voltage and current characteristics, we go through some amplification characteristics of the transistor, how to find the current flow through the collector current flow through the emitter base how to properly bias a transistor. So, this is really an introduction into semiconductors into diodes. This is really the first step investors looking around here. This is really the first step so, I suggest if you're into semiconductors and want to look out, look at how things work. Take a look at this now. This is the last course in what in what I call my core or basic elements of electronics.

And if you look and I'm not going to I name them all now, but I have quite a few courses on this platform. All right. And if you take the first one, introduce our electronic basics with a brief introduction to electronics or brief history into electronics, I give you an outline on how to study for my courses. So pull that down, I believe that that's a free preview here, pull that down and take a look at it and go through those courses sequentially. Now with that said, I'm in the process of putting, taking all those courses and making one large course that'll that'll continue to go from what I call soup to nuts. And again, when that's up there, that will be my core basic course.

All right, but some people have a background in electronics they may need to brush up on filters, AC components, semiconductor physics, advanced circuit analysis and so forth what a resonant circuit is, and they want to be able to take some of these modules. But anyways, I am confident that if you take this course you'll have a good understanding or a basic understanding of diodes and transistors. And any one of my courses will go in there and and if you've got a background, it's a great review. If you know nothing take again you need to start and look at my outline you need to start with the first course and sequentially go down and my core, my electronic core bundle will give you an excellent excellent background to the basic properties of electronics. My gut feeling is if you finish all those courses, you can actually start to troubleshoot and design.

Start designing Maybe some simple stuff, but you'll have you'll look at a schematic or you'll look at electronic circuit and things will start to pop. Alright, with that said, Take a look at this course I think you'll like it. And just remember my little cutie best here. My little cutie bass is a rescue dog. And if you look at some of the presentations that I've given previously, you'll know that I advocate for rescue dogs we love best. She's a good girl.

And if you're looking for a dog, check out a rescue dog. With that said this is Al and bass from Al's electronic classroom saying keep on learning. Take care now.
