Here's how we're going to treat this region: Step 1: The tongue attachment into the jaw

Use the index finger of your dominant hand
Find where the soft tissue attaches into the jaw on the opposite side of your chin in your mouth
When you find soreness there, hold comfortable pressure into the bone (this would draw your jaw forward)
Hold for 30-60 seconds

Step 2: The floor of the mouth

Continue using your index finger
Put downward pressure (alternatively you can put downward pressure and move your finger back and forth) looking for any tender areas on the floor of the mouth
When you find a tender or painful spot, hold pressure for 30-60 seconds
Work your way all around the column of the tongue in the floor of the mouth
Repeat until you have found and addressed as many areas as you can

Continue using your index finger
Find the column of the tongue as it rises up from the floor of the mouth
