Like every other project, email marketing never checklist. This checklist is like an order of protocol, or checkpoints that your email campaign must complete. At the top of the checklist is objective, you must identify your email campaign objectives. What you aim to achieve. This could be more leads more download, increased traffic on your website or sales. Once you've identified your objectives, you proceed to the next on the list which is your audience.

You need to identify your audience. You need to develop a customer Avatar and find out what they want from you and how to deliver relevant content that promotes your interest and add value to them. Your audience are the people that will be receiving your emails. You need to keep their interest at the thought on the least his platform You have your objectives and your audience. That's good. Now you must decide the best platform that can help you fulfill that objective and connect you to your audience.

There are a lot of email marketing platforms out there, but not all will serve you the same way. later in this course, I'm going to introduce you to the components you should look out for when choosing an email marketing platform. Also, the platform I'll be using for tutorial in the next phase of this course, is a free platform. And it has all the basic features you need to get started with email marketing. The fourth item on the checklist is content. You've heard the phrase the content is king.

It is what we use to sell an idea or a product. You must identify the best content that meets your audience interest, and be able to write compelling email copies that drives engagement. In the optimization phase of this course, I will give you expert tips that you can use when writing email campaigns that will drive engagement. Item number five is tested. Always test before you start sending your email campaigns. send a copy to yourself.

Preview it on different devices to see how it will look when your audience receives it. testing your emails will help you avoid unnecessary arrows like grammatical and typographical errors. Scheduling is the next item. Never assume that you will be available to send email campaigns when you want to any delay could occur so it is safer to schedule your campaigns. That way, everybody on your list receives your email at the same time and then when you want it. The last item on the checklist is measurement.

In your email performance, open rate, click through rate, bounce rate, and check if you are meeting your goals and objectives. Measure your emails at intervals and compare performance to find relevant trends and insights that may make your campaign more effective.
