There are seven basic types of email campaign. The first one is newsletters. It's a regular communication between you and your audience. This sort of email is all about keeping your contacts in the loop, informing them about product updates, education and entertaining them. It's all about staying at the top of their mind building loyalty and providing valuable content. The second type of email is the welcome email series.

This is the first email series your new subscriber receives immediately they opt in to your list. This email as it is called in operate. So it's an opportunity to introduce and educate your audience on your brand promise. Invite them to join you on social media and get to know them better. Your welcome series should always showcase your product or service while your customer and also thank them for connecting with you. The third type of email campaign The promotional email campaign.

This campaign is the most common reference to email marketing. And the last one, number seven is the reengagement campaign. This is a series of emails sent to inactive subscribers. It is advised that you send this type of email campaign every four months. The objective of this type of email is to get inactive subscribers to be active or simply identify them or remove them from your mailing list. A high number of inactive subscribers will have a negative result on your campaign performance.
