Okay, so once you go ahead and download the installer for longtail pro platinum, you're going to come to a screen that looks just like this. And what you're going to want to do is then create a campaign by clicking this little button in the top left over here. And you can name the project anything that you want. So we're going to name this one test. And instantly it's going to ask us to add seed keywords and see keywords are really a great way they get them through Keyword Planner. So Google Keyword Planner that is, so whenever I mentioned Keyword Planner, I'm really just referring to the seed keywords over here.

So if we wanted to do local terms, like I said, SEO Tampa, or something of that nature, we could put in that we want more generic terms, we would just add an SEO, online marketing, you know, search engine optimization guide SEO firms. sem search engine marketing. So all those would be what's considered seed keywords and those seed keywords are really going to just populate another depending on each one that you add and I'm really gonna knock these down. So that way, we only get just a couple, they're usually going to fetch in the range of 500 to 800 terms for each seed that you add. So you do have to be careful not to add just a huge slew of them. It's a lot more powerful inside longtail pro platinum, the keyword Google Keyword Planner search than it is when you actually use the normal user interface.

Inside Google itself. I think it's just the way in which longtail pro Platinum pulls the keywords. I think it does an individual search for each keyword, and then it compiles all the lists, and then it removes all the duplicates for you and then it populates that list with all The uniques. So that's why it takes a little bit of time. But it's doing all of that in the background so that you don't have to you don't need to know what to do. And it creates a list of all unique terms.

There's no duplicates inside, when you populate this. In fact, they'll give you warnings if there are any duplicates, usually in terms of it'll automatically remove them, or it'll give you a red feature when you're adding inside the find keywords feature. If I click on that, that box will come back up, in which it says, What would you like to enter for seed keywords, or that box below it? It would have allowed me to enter in exact keyword phrases that I wanted to search up. So if I wanted a specific specific spelling of a certain word, maybe a misspelling, perhaps, that still gets a lot of searches, then that would be something that I would type inside that second box right here under add my own key word So that's what that is for. Now, the Customize data and pre filter are just really trying to narrow down ahead of time.

And I will say, unless you're doing pay per click, you don't need to worry about suggested bids, or advertiser competition, because that is not organic competition rankings. Now you can do the number of words if you choose to limit it to a certain amount, of course, that will let you know you know, hey, you only need to get more than three words but less than six. So you're trying to get semi longtail phrases, but not a radically long. With that you can also look for global search volume. We can always find that the domain availability behind something google google title competition and the being titled competition. So what I'm going to end up doing is removing the number of words because I don't need that.

And then the other place that we can actually remove these things outside of the Customize data is right over here on the right where you see those three bars and the three dots on top of them. It's going to open up the Options bar, and it looks like unfortunately, longtail Pro is still populating those keywords in the background. So what I may have to do is unfortunately cancel this. But as you'll see, it's pulled well over 800 plus keywords. And each time I'm adding a different filter for this. Again, longtail pro Platinum is taking all of that processing it on my behalf.

So that way I can figure out ahead of time, you know what I do and don't want inside of each of these, and I understand what it was doing is going through and finding the global searches for each of these keywords. So that was again, researching every single term again. So I'm going to remove the global, the number of words and the Amazon. That's going to leave me really with what's important, which is the keyword, the searches behind it and in grouping, and then we can start pulling the average keyword competitiveness just like that. The suggested bid is, of course going to clarify if there is value inside of ranking page one, when people pay for pay per click, which is literally they're paying $14 and 82 cents on average, per click for page one ad for the term SEO, if you can get paid one for that relatively every pay every click that you receive from those Google organics when someone searches SEO has a value, potentially, of up to 15 or more dollars for you.

So again, it's just letting you verify what inside has value because Where competitors are willing to pay for it. They obviously have money they're making from it. And that's a good indicator to know what is a successful keyword, even if you can't identify certain keywords that are quote unquote buyer keywords
