Okay, now it is time to download the original virtual machine. And in order to do that, just go to Google and type in download, restart v o s. EOS is the operating system that an Arista switches running, and V OS is the withdrawal version of this operating system. So go to the first link right here, and then just click on the download v EOS link. And finally, just access the software download page link. Arista requires you to have a free user account in order to be able to download the rest of the iOS virtual machine. So since I assume you don't have an Arista account, you can just go to neither user account, fill in all the necessary information and then hit register.
Since I already have an account, I'm going to click back and I'm going to log in with my credentials, and then click Login. And as soon as I log in, I'm ready. To the software download page, you should go to V OS lab, this section right here and expand it, then you should choose the for 20 version. I'm recommending this version since I have already used it and tested a lot and I know it works smoothly. And from here you should choose v o s lab four dot 2010 m dot vmdk. Click on this and then just say file and Okay, I'm not going to do this since I already have the file.
So I will click Cancel. And the second file you need is right here in the a boot section, just go to a booth V is a dot zero dot zero dot ISO and click on that file as well and also save the file to your computer. And basically that's all you need in order to run the Arista virtual machine into VirtualBox. So I'm going to click Cancel as well. Since I already have the two files right here. For now, just register a free account on the original dot com website, download the two files.
And I'll see you in the next lecture, where I'm going to show you how to import the virtual machine into VirtualBox and how to tweak the system requirements in order to have a smooth experience with this virtual machine.
