Okay, the last thing we should do in order to have a fully functional network environment, and before starting to build our Python application is to verify that SSH version two is enabled on each of our array stop switches. I have to mention that by default, SSH is already enabled on the Arista switches, but we should nevertheless test and check if this is indeed true. First of all, I'm going to enter the command line for each of these switches and change the hostname so we can better identify each of the switches so hostname or restart one and copy, run start hostname or restart to and copy run start, and the same for restart three and copy run start. Okay, since we're on our three let's also check show management as as Ah, and you can see that SSH is already enabled. This means that we can test the connectivity from our windows 10 host operating system to each of these devices.
So in order to do that, we should use an SSH client, and what better client to use then party. So go to Google and type in party bu TT y, and then go on the first link, you can download party here. And then for Windows Installer, just choose the 64 bit version, click on the MSI package right here, say file, and finally, open file. Click ok. Next, Next, let's add a shortcut on the desktop. Install and click Finish. Now let's go to the desktop and open party.
So for hostname or IP address, I'm going to enter the IP address of Arista one which is ten.ten.ten.to. Make sure you have SSH checked right here. And also So the default port of 22. Let's hit open login, admin and password Python. And you can see that we are currently logged in. We can go to enable mode, we can again show IP interface brief, and so on.
So we have a fully functional SSH connection to Arista one. Let's also check the same for a restart to an Arista three. So 10 dot 10 dot 10 dot three, open, click Yes, admin, and Python. And again, you can see that we are currently logged into Arista two. And finally, let's check the same for Arista. 310 dot 10 dot 10 dot four, open, hideous login as admin, and Python.
And it seems we're good to go. We have a fully functional network set up and SSH connectivity to each of the Arista, virtual machines. Great job. Starting with the next lecture, we are going to return to Python and start building up Network application. See you there.
