Okay, welcome back in this video, we're going to talk about content that converts and sending emails with the proper content and make sure that you get the clicks on the links in your email that go to the offers that people will buy. So the content goals we have here are wanting to get people to take action. Okay, we want to make sure people take action and do what we want them to do. We also want to make sure that we have low unsubscribe rates, okay, so when people click at the bottom of the email and unsubscribe and opt out of our list, you know, obviously if you send out an email to 100 people and 2030 people opt out that's that's not a good thing. Okay, so we're gonna keep that low. We also want to get the low spam complaints, okay, Spam is where people complain that they're getting emails from you to the actual autoresponder there's a place in every autoresponder the bottom the email, they can click and complain, so we don't want that.

We also want to get a high click through ratio, which is the same thing as Getting people to take action basically want people to read our content and click and go on to the offer. So to achieve these goals, we want to make sure that the content is relevant, relevant content, personalized and sent niche specifically to the right people is going to lower your unsubscribe and spam complaint rate. It's just that simple. Okay, so make sure that your content is extremely relevant. We talked about this before, I can't hammer home enough that you need to make sure that you have relevant content going to the right people. And there's two different ways to send your email.

Okay, you can do a short email with links. Okay, short email is just short and sweet. Basically, just say a couple things. put the link in there. I typically this is going to drive a higher click through ratio. Okay, so the short email with links typically drives a higher click through ratio because you didn't give them much in the email.

So they want to click on the link and see what's going on. Okay, so that doesn't necessarily mean it's a higher conversion ratio just means higher click through ratio. Okay? The other way you can do it is a long form email with links, okay, longer emails with a lot of content while they do, you know, give people more time to leave the email and not click on the links, they go a long way in building trust and building rapport, and they lower your unsubbed and your spam complaint rate dramatically. Okay, so when it's actually a really good long email, and it's not just an email with links in it, there's not a lot of content, it's going to lower your unsubscribe, it's going to lower your unsubscribe rate and spam complaint rate. So a couple of bits of advice for writing your content.

For one, give your audience commands, okay, so tell people what to do, you know, tell them to click the links, you know, tell them what you want them to do. Most people don't know what to do. So you've got to let them know you know what the next step is, if they like what they're hearing, they like what they're seeing Click on this link for more information, click on this link to check out this great resource and things like that. You can also use the first name code just like we did in the subject line, you can use the first name code in the email. This works really well to actually personalize your email and lower your spam and unsubscribe rates. Okay, so when people know the emails directly to them, they're not typically you know, you're not going to get spammed unless it's just completely irrelevant.

Okay? So use the first name code. And also remember that using the first name code and giving commands, lower your unsubscribe, they lower your unsubscribe and spam rate, but they also increase your click through rate. Okay, so the more personal it is, the more likely they are to click through and go check out the offer. And remember that higher unsubscribe rates cost you money, okay, so it's money you invested to get the traffic to get the lead, and when they unsubscribe, you've lost them forever unless they reset Describe later, okay, so you cost you a lot of money. Remember, the goal is to lower those rates and increase our click through rate.

So my advice to you, when you're first starting out is to send longer emails. In the beginning, send longer emails with more content. And make sure you you know, do two to three links in the email, obviously, just send longer emails, you know, don't just send the Quick Links, because if you don't have a big list, you don't want to get a lot of unsubscribes. You don't want to get a lot of spam complaints. Okay. And also, you want to get a lot of click through rates, you want to maximize the click through rates of the people that open your email.

So send longer emails and first starting out is going to help you a lot you do that. And then one thing you never want to do. You never want to use spammy words. Okay, so most platforms have a spam meter. That will tell you in real time while you're writing your email, how spammy it looks, okay, if it gives you an indication that your emails a little bit too spammy, I wouldn't send it Spam mail is going to go to people's bulk folder, it's going to go to their spam folder, they're probably never going to see it in the first place. And if they do, and they complain enough, it can get your account shut down.

Okay? So never use spam words. Pay attention to that spam meter. Read your reports. Make sure that you're optimizing your subject lines make sure you're optimizing your content. Start out with the longer emails to kind of build trust build a relationship, lower those unsubscribe and spam rates and also increase your click through rate and then in the next video I'm actually going to walk you through Clickbank show you how to find an offer on Clickbank that you can promote to your list.
