Imagine you want to hire a coach and you want the best most mature code you can get. What might be the characteristics of this mature coverage? Take a moment to reflect on the qualities that would be important so you could get the best results possible. Perhaps you can think of an excellent coach you've had in the past. Congruent with himself comfortable with who they are at ease in their life in work. partnership with a client works with the client, not leading the client, but draws from a deep rapport based on trust and respect. comfortable in the unknown, has not preconceived notions about how and when the client will learn, grow and take action is willing to be surprised by the choices and shifts the client makes. flow and ease given take, again, Greg rapport and willing to flow with how the client wants to proceed. The coach invites the client to help create the methods and processes that fit the client is not the expert does not know the answers and does not need to be the one who knows best. In terms of creating awareness, we might say there are two levels of coaching. Level One, helping a client get results.
This level is concerned with attaining specific goals the client wants, and the coach is mainly focused on outcomes. Coaches coaching looks more like problem solving. So, in level one, a coach works only on external obstacles, which we'll discuss soon. concerned with problem solving to get results the client cannot apply new learning to new situations, and there are no obvious internal shifts in awareness. Let's look at level two, helping a client master the ability to get results. In level two coaching, we might see awareness of internal obstacles.
And again, we'll talk about these obstacles soon. strategies can be applied to future situations. The client can ultimately coach him or herself. And we find shifts in internal belief systems. Those aha moments. The mature coach includes both level one and level two coaching when working with a client and can help shift the client upward in his or her development as soon In Maslow's model, it is important that the client gets the key results that he or she wants from coaching.
In addition, attention is given to learning and awareness so that the coaching enables the client to make better decisions in the future by being able to apply learning and awareness to new situations. as coaches we use key results that the client currently wants as a vehicle to higher levels of awareness of importance and the basis of this course on beliefs. Unless the inner perception of the client shifts, new behaviors will not be sustained. The mature coach then brings to the coaching more than a simple process. Problem Solving point of view. Because a coach who can help others grow is someone who also has personal mastery.
