Did you download your set of scales from the last module? If you didn't, don't worry you can download them from this page too. You can do this activity without the scales. They are helpful, however, to either write directly on or to use as a reminder that you are wanting to balance the two pictures to alleviate distress.
On a fresh page, create three columns: -
Column one is headed "My issue"
Column two is headed "What I want"
Column three is headed " What I've got"
Enter each issue you are feeling distressed about in the "My issue" column. Complete the table according to the headings. The "What I want" column represents your Quality World pictures, the "What I've got" column represents your perceived world pictures.
If you prefer, you can write them on your picture of the scales. Somewhere on the scale image write down each issue; then record what you want and what you believe you've got. You can use the scale picture for as long as it helps you to visualize the imbalance between...
