All right, welcome back again. And let's move one step higher. And we will face what is called the motion. picture, this famous Maxim from Einstein, which says that no problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it. Now, this is exactly what we're talking about here. In other words, what this means is that until we remain to a certain level, not necessarily only the technical level, but as long as we remain on one level, to that level of consciousness, which means that I know only about what happens at that level, I can get out of that level.

So that's the level of consciousness until they stay there. There is no way I can solve any problem. Now that's Einstein saying them Not me. Okay, but I'm just thinking you can we can understand what he's talking about and what I'm talking about. So let's talk about more of this bogus emotional level, which is that step above the technical level here, it works differently. Whereas before, that was the domain of the what the technical level was the mean of the what, what do I do?

What do I want? What are who are my clients and, and what should they do with them? It's the what? That's that's the question that I asked myself. It's about doing. It's about the production.

Here, the is about the how, what's the emotional level is okay, this is what I want, but how do I do that? How do I approach that? Am I just going to do and is it going to be just action? Or do I have to find a different approach to that? See, as you asked me That question, you're moving up one level, you're going up, you're stepping up. That's where one of the causes in this system is on the how you can work, you can no longer work on the walk.

If you don't have the results. As I said, in here, you can now you can work on that. And Daniel Goleman, as I mentioned in a previous lesson, did a great job at codifying of this thing that has been going on for the past six or seven years working starting to work on emotional intelligence. Now, Daniel Goleman gave it a very specific description of what emotional intelligence is about. And he also found that there are five specific skills that pertain to this level to the level of emotions and and these five scales they must Talking about our self mastery, self awareness, motivation, empathy, and social skills. Of course, within those skills are other sub skills.

But these are the major categories of skills that pertain to emotional skills. And that's why it's the how you see self mastery and self awareness are his most important aspect of emotional intelligence. And that's where you find the answers in yourself. So unlike the previous level where there was the enemy is out there syndrome. Somehow when you work at emotional intelligence, you start thinking, Hey, wait a second, if I don't, if things don't happen? Well, it's not because there's something wrong on the side.

It's not because there are enemies outside but perhaps I'm the enemy within in a certain way it is even though it's stuck. Correct. You'll see that when we talk about the next level, the systemic level, but it is a good approach, okay, you have to find your answers within what am I doing wrong? How am I doing things wrong, so that I'm not getting the results they want. I know that technically, I'm not okay, I'm fine. I don't have to do anything on that.

But perhaps there's something within me in my approach, both mental approach within myself and towards the external world, which is towards the market towards the client, towards the stakeholders and whatever, there's something there in my communication towards the outside, that is preventing me from having the results that I want. So this in this sense, this good work that can be done and there are a lot of incredible books and, and courses out there and seminars out there that teach these aspects of emotional intelligence. So it's something that if you haven't yet done anything about it? That's something that you have to explore. Of course, I would like that would suggest to you that looks like I'm gonna go over. Let's see what are the major resistances to work at this level?

Because perhaps you see I unconsciously, you may have somehow have a hunch that there is something that you have to fix in yourself. But you said, No. It's not that it's the world out there that's wrong. And you have to fight against that world. You see, so your way it is harder to face that physically. But mentally, it's much easier to say there's something wrong outside than saying I have to pick something within myself and my business.

It's much easier. So let's see, what are these major resistances to approaching the emotional level? The first one that comes to mind is questioning oneself. You have to question yourself, can this be done better? What are you not understanding? What if this strategy hasn't worked?

How could you make it better? You have to question yourself live question what goes on out there? You know, questions? Okay, of course you have to question what do my clients want? But that's at the technical level, because you're working with the outside world. Anybody does that.

But when things don't work, you have to question yourself. And the second thing is, you have to work on yourself, you have to take your personal growth very seriously. Okay, so emotional intelligence is related to your personal growth. So you have to do that you have to take courses, you have to read books you have to get really involved in in your approaches. And there, there's a lot of stuff out there where you can do that. So there is there is no excuse that there's nothing out there that I can do.

Third thing is that you have to expose yourself. You have to show that you are who you truly are. And you have to expose Your emotional aspect what you want, and what you want to share what you want to improve, and to communicate it outside. And people don't like that don't like exposing themselves because you're exposing yourself for many people means becoming vulnerable. A friend volley affects both myself, I'm vulnerable and vulnerable, I can be attacked. It's just the opposite.

You're not attacking you expose yourself, really, truly expose yourself, you show your strength, you still use your power, the people that work with you, your employees or teammates, want to work with somebody who is true. Not somebody who has something to hide, or have strategies that are very clear to everybody, or where does he want to go? And what's the deal here? Okay, so this is the importance of exposing oneself. One important aspect is about making having to make paradigm shifts. I'll explain what the paradigm is, you know, makes it you know, one of the next lessons, and that's important.

That's, that's that's everything. Okay, a paradigm is a mental model. That's how you, you see how you interpret how you structure your reality. So when you have to make a paradigm shift, that means that you have to radically change something about yourself and about the way you think. Okay, we do these paradigm shifts, starting from the systemic level, that's the level of paradigms, but here, you have to actually make the shifts because, okay, you can understand that mentally. But until you're not emotionally involved in that paradigm, then you cannot really make the change.

If you're afraid, for example, this is something that can create some resistance. And then you have to abandon what we would call a safe harbor when we move from one level to the next. It's as if we were abandoning a safe harbor. Why? Because once we go step into a level where the technical is automatic, it's by default. But when you go to the when you move to the emotional level, then it's like you are abandoning something.

And you cannot take everything that you have there up with you. That remains, you did not leave that. What are operationally speaking, you will always have to work. Technically, I explained that I made that clear before. And you have to venture yourself in another land, you don't know what's there. And that makes it difficult, because you don't know who you're going.

Because you have to, as I've said before, you have to, you know, get in touch with yourself. You have to question yourself, you have to work on yourself. You have to expose yourself. And that's difficult to do. It's like, you know, I'm going somewhere that I'm not acquainted with and another one and perhaps some some important one is the adoption of a man machine paradigm. I will talk about that in a lesson.

The machine paradigm is what's holding down. The machine paradigm is where you see your business as a machine. And you see the market as a machine, and therefore it's your machine against the other one, it's working 100% the way your mind does, or you have no control whatsoever, when your mind has total control, and your mind does not want you to grow. It does not want you to be happy. It does not want to you to have success, and perhaps Yes, but without having to change anything. You see, I'll get that.

I'll explain that very well. And so when you go against your mind, your mind wins. If you're not solidly aware of what you're doing, perhaps some of these resistances might be right let's see what are the risks or how your mind sees risks. operating at this level, for example, there is excessive focus on yourself. I've seen this plenty of times, I've seen people who have personal growth. And after a while they think they made, they made they think they're above the mass.

And we become self referential. In fact, that's the next point. There's self sufficient referentiality. And there's consequences self centeredness. I have made my personal growth, I feel better than before. I have answered many questions.

So now I'm okay. And I can guide people I can lead people. That's a very, very strong risk. You just have to keep your humility strong as you grow because it's very easy to be carried away and what makes you you see when we grow when we step up levels, we become more humble. The problem is, is that when you operate at the emotional level, it doesn't mean that you are not That you don't have forces from below that try to drag you down again. That's the technical level.

That's where your mind works. Okay, why did he do that? Why does he might want to, to sabotage you. I'll explain that. The reason reason very important one, there was excessive self confidence. Oh, I know that I've grown enough to know that.

So I'm pretty confident that we will make it. You see here again, not enough humility, get into a state of contentment, inhibiting growth. So at one point, people get to a point where they say I've done enough work on Okay, I'm satisfied with what I have. I don't have to do more. I can stop I can rest now. So that is the risk you stuck in growth.

Finally you lose sight of the necessities at the tactical level. Sometimes this can happen that when you operate at the emotional level, you see everything at emotional level, especially if you've been dwelling there. before. For a while now, okay, you're not so concerned about the technical level, you still have managers that have other people thinking that I can, I can manage the state from an emotional point of view, that is a big mistake, you still have to stick at a technical level, remember, or even after you've learned how to work systemically, you still have to spend 95% of the time working at the technical level. But let's never forget that and you'll also have to continuously grow at that level. I think you have enough stuff on an emotional level.

And don't lose the next one. The next lesson on the systemic level, where I'm sure you will learn a few new things that you were not aware of. So see you at the next lesson.
