Here's a really fun little movement for you to try to taste and develop your strong stance on the snowboard. So here we're going to be trying some slating 360s. So with this, we want to maintain that nice equal weight on both feet, equal band and those key lower joints, hips, knees and ankles. And we want to make sure the upper and lower body move together here and maintain alignment. And these ones are really good to show you that where your eyes link, it helps direct your body. So with these guys, however, we're going to do them is we're going to do a he'll say turn, but we're just going to keep that he'll say turn going so it becomes a full 360.
So as you make that he'll say turn, you're going to look over your front shoulder, either the shoulder, hips, knees and feet to move as a unit and you're going to be rotating from your core. And as that board starts to spin, you just want to make sure you flatten off your feet. So you're relaxed. waxing those ankles, so the board goes on to flat base to allow it to easily pivot. Because if that edge is locked in the snow, you're gonna jar through the spin there. So as you keep that spin going, come back on to that heel edge.
And here, you're going to try the toe edge as well. So to say 360. So here, you're going to make your way into to say turn, and this time we're going to look over the back shoulder moves a unit rotating from that core and your hips to lay that 360 to happen for you.
