Welcome to the turning stage of the snowboard learning pyramid. Up until now you've been using your left and your right leg to lead the weight and the Learn your ages stage. So now that we're on to turning, we're going to pick our lead leg that's going to be leading the way through the turn for us the whole time. No. So I myself, I'm a regular writer, so my left leg leads the way for me. And if you're going to be a goofy writer, that right leg is going to lead the way for you through the turns.

So a great thing to do here is through the turning and explore stages of the pyramid, pick that lead lake that you're going to stick with. And then once you make your way to the end of the snowboard learning pyramid, go back to turning and explore and try them all with your opposite lead leg to really develop that skill and come from on top of the board and then prove your switch rating which is going to greatly help you on the mountain when you're trying to learn other new skills and tricks.
