Transcript

Welcome to the watch and rate beginner series. This is the easiest and fastest way to learn and improve in a snowboard. My name is Fraser and I'll be the instructor taking you through your snowboard learning journey. In this series, we're going to use the snowboard learning pyramid to really break down our snowboard journey. So we can look at things in small manageable chunks and really upgrade our skills. So first of all, we'll start off with the Foundation, which is the fundamentals.

So we'll get really familiar with our equipment, comfortable moving around with one foot attached, and rock solid with the sensation of glading on the snow with that snowboard attached to our feet. We'll then move on to learning your ages and getting your balance. So we'll look at the heel edge and the two weights separately. And then we'll move on to turning which is moving from one edge to the other where we can combine those heel and two edges. And then at the top of the pyramid we've got explore which is where we master the mountain and we can be free and flowing. Moving around to hell having a lot of fun out there.

And each lesson, you'll learn what we're practicing, why we're actually practicing it, and then how to be successful with it. So really break down into the key points equal our key joints and how we have to move our body to get the required result on the snow. So with each lesson, after the video, there'll be a text file and an infographic which will really break down those steps of success for you. So you'll have the visual and then also the text to back up. I hope you have fun with the beginner series guys. I'll catch you on the slope.
