Hey, it's Leah muster again. And this is module seven of interview experts and profit. So I actually said in the last module, and I really, really apologize that we're actually going on to talk about doing the actual interview. But there's one crucial module that I missed out and that's this one is the equipment you'll need because there is a certain amount of equipment that you're going to need. And I did briefly mention it right at the very beginning in the, in either the introduction or the first module. So I'm just going to this is a really quick module just to run through all the equipment that you're going to need.
As I said, a lot of it is low cost or Eva, no cost at all, so it's free, but I just wanted to put this quick module in here so that you know, and you have everything that you need in order to do your interview. So the first thing you need is Skype Comm. So it's a core software, this is what you're used if you've never used it before, to carry out your call. Most people nowadays have Skype and I know particularly in the make money online niche. Everybody tends to do all their calls and coaching and every We think that they do through Skype. So it's a great way that's free, you can just speak to each other.
So I would highly recommend Skype and you can just go up and sign up for a free account and get it all downloaded. And that's the perfect thing to use to actually carry out your calls between you and your experts. And then next is Pamela dot biz. This is one that I also mentioned, it specifically works alongside Skype, it's called Pamela for Skype. And this is your call recording software. And at the time of this recording, it's free for 30 days.
So you get a 30 day trial, but then it's $16 67 as a one off payment, and then you'll have it for all your interviews. But what I did find is depending on when you can get all your experts booked in, you may only need to use the 30 day trial. If you can do them all in that period. Unfortunately, because of the product I was doing and the market that I'm in and my experts were so busy, I couldn't get it all done within 30 day period, so I had to purchase it because they will spread out over lunch. A few months, but you might not find that and you might just be able to get the 30 day trial. So that's what it looks like Pamela for Skype, so you can just go and download that onto your computer so you can use to record it, because the last thing you want to be doing is doing this fantastic, wonderful, amazing value packed interview and you forget to record it, because that would just be a massive bummer.
And you know, you're probably not going to get the opportunity to get that expert back again, to do it, you normally only get one chance, you want to make sure it's recorded. So, the other thing you need is a headset with a microphone of some kind. I mean, you don't have to have a joint one. I mean, I always use a headset and a microphone, I actually use this Plantronics audio 355 multimedia headset really cheap, but it's really good quality. So I use something like this, but you don't have to use an all in one you can use just a pair of headphones and maybe a standalone microphone. Just do a bit of research.
Go on Amazon Have a look. Typing headsets or type in microphones. For audio and video recording or something like that, just have a look and see what's out there and see what resonates with you. You know, if you've got a bit more money to spend, you might want to get something a bit more expensive, but this is what I use. And it's always been fine for me. And then there's the products like the actual if you want to create a PowerPoint presentation, something like what I'm doing to go with your interview, because you might be doing like a talk over with it, or you might want to put something together like this in bullet points to go with your interview.
You want a PowerPoint presentation software, and you want to use something like PowerPoint, which is what I'm using, and that's from products office COMM And you can have that for a PC or a Mac. So it works for both of those. But if you are a Mac person, which I'm not I'm a Windows person PC person, you can get keynotes as well which is free you can get that downloaded and that's for from apple.com. So that's a very brief module. Just to let you know the equipment that you need to use, it is very important that you remember to record the interviews, have everything ready, have everything prepared is really important. So that was just a really quick module.
