Hello, it's Liam Auster, again from interview experts, and prophet and welcome to Module nine. Now within this module, we're going to be talking about post interview. So after you've carried out your interview, this is the module that's going to tell you what you need to do next. So you're going to need to edit those interviews and with when we've spoken about it previous Lee in other modules, there's either audio interviews, or you do video interviews. So if you've carried out an audio interview, you can use a free software called Audacity. This is a great free download that you can edit all your audio on.

So I strongly advise you to go and check that out, get that downloaded, because you can use that to edit any audio interviews that you've carried out. But if you've gone ahead and done a video interview, which a lot of people do prefer to do, you can use a piece of software called Camtasia, which you may have heard of it's been around for a long time. It's very, very popular, and it's done by a company called To TechSmith and Camtasia is actually free for the first 30 days. So you can download that free trial and check it out for the first 30 days. And then after that I'm not too sure what the price I think it was $297 I'm not too sure whether that's still the same. But that is a great piece of software for editing your video interviews.

So there's a few things that you need to do. And remember, you need to keep it natural. So you don't want to be over editing your audios or your videos. It can sound very unnatural if you do this and don't try and perfect it too much. A it's going to take forever. And it's just going to measure with the whole sound of the whole interview.

It's going to make it sound really jilted and really unnatural. And the whole idea is you want it to sound like a discussion. You want it to sound conversational. So don't try and perfect it too much because it will come across in it that you're cutting out all the ns and R's and pauses everywhere. People are going to really pick up on that and know that you've really overdid it and it's just gonna sound awful. So you need to use mp3 format for audio.

But the thing that you need to think about is when you're editing anything, it can be very, very time consuming. And within this business, there's always so many other things that you need to be doing. And editing, something can take forever. So, I would strongly advise getting this sort of thing outsourced, if you're not very good at it yourself. I'm really lucky because my brother is very, very good at all this sort of stuff. He's very technical.

He's my business partner, he does all the technical things in that side of my business, but if I didn't have him, and before I had him I would, you know, I was outsourcing things to fiverr.com you can get some really great things done sort of $5 that's the whole general gist to fiverr.com you can get anything done for $5 and it's just a great thing to do is to get it outsourced. If you're really not technical and don't want to do it. I strongly advise you to get PDF transcripts carried out as well for every interview that you do. Everybody likes to learn in different ways. People like to watch videos because they can learn better that way. Some people like to listen to audios and some people just like to read.

So you want to try and cater for everybody because, you know, you're trying to reach as many people as possible. And if they see that you're covering all bases, you're likely to get more customers. So I always advise to have PDF transcripts. And again, you can outsource all of these using again, fiverr.com. And upwork.com is another place that you can go to where you post a job on there of what exactly what you want. And then all these people come along and bid for your job, tell you what they can do.

And then you can just pick and choose who you want to do it. And I do have a great tip for outsourcing. When you're doing PDF transcripts for each of your interviews. Say you've interviewed 10 people ask for a bundle costs. So when you go to somebody on fiverr.com send them a message there's a contact me section for every person that has gigs they're called gigs on fiverr.com. If you Haven't had it before, ask for a bundle cost for all of your transcripts, because it's going to be a lot cheaper to do it that way, rather than sending every, you know, interview over and asking for an individual transcript every time.

So I'd strongly advise you to ask for bundle cost because it's always worked out cheaper for myself to do it that way. So as I've just mentioned, fiverr.com is the place that I go for everything I love. I love this website, it's got so much stuff. And you know, as you can see the little headings there, there's graphics and design, they do online marketing, writing, translation programming, you can basically get anything on there. It's really great. And then finally, as I mentioned, upwork.com, where you can go on, sign up for an account, post your job, and then all the freelancers as you can see on the screen will come along bid for your job, and then you can give them all the details and pick who you want.
