Hello is Liam Auster, again, and this is module four of interview experts and profit. So within this module, we're going to be talking about what questions you should be asking your experts. So from the research that you've carried out, you're going to be wanting to find the common questions that are being asked all the time. So the questions that are being asked constantly, these are perfect to ask your experts as there's obviously a need for this and people are looking for the answer the questions that are really painting people that are keeping people up at night, the questions that are coming up over and over again, because people just can't find the answers to their questions. You're going to want to be aiming at your experts when you carry out your interview, because they're what's going to sell your product for you. So you need to make sure all your questions are relevant and on topic.

There is no point having questions that are all over the place and really general and just just don't relate to each other at all, because that's not that's not good. It's not good for you It's not good for your expert. And you need to make sure all your questions flow, you don't want your interview to be all over the place, because it's going to put everybody off. And it's not gonna be very nice for your listeners, you need something structured that's going to flow that's going to follow on from each other super, super important. So you want to be asking questions that relate to each other. And these are some of the questions that I asked.

And as you can see, they all flow and relate to each other, which made it easier for my expert and my guests. And it was easier for me and it also gave a better interview for my listeners to learn from. So I did a product within the list building niche. And I asked for experts all about list building, and I found the top 10 questions within that niche that were being asked all the time. So these were the first five questions they asked and they were all to do with squeeze pages because at the time, everything to do with squeeze pages was always coming up. People didn't know how to build them.

They didn't know how to use and they Didn't know what they looked like. So as you can see, from my questions, what tools do you use to build a squeeze page? I asked that question because that was a really popular comment. It was it was a thread that was coming up constantly on forums. So I asked him that question, you know, what do you use? What tools do you use?

And they, they all gave me a different answer. And then I asked, you know, what, you know, do you have any links to your highest converting pages, you know, your your highest converting squeeze page, Can people actually get a link to actually visually see because people learn better when they can see something because they can copy it. So, you know, people were saying on the forums, you know, you're telling me this stuff bought, I can't visualize that I can't picture I need to see something. So I thought, well, why not go and ask them for their links? You know, all they can do is say no, but they happily gave me the links to their squeeze pages so that I could give that to my customers so they could learn from that and see that and then I asked them what made a squeeze page convert highly.

And again, they gave me the answers. It was a hot topic. It was always being asked people there. knew, you know, the people that didn't know how to set up a squeeze page and how to make it convert. It was just sitting there dormant not making them any money. So I'm not going to go into a lot of detail.

This is just an example. But you can see, you know, what offers Do you give away to entice somebody? And what is the best offer you gave away to entice somebody, you know, how do you automate the process for someone? These were all really related questions, but they were also you know, they're also hot topics. So this is why you have to really do your research because not only do you need to find questions that always being asked, but they've all got to relate to each other as well. So you really do have to do your, you know your research thoroughly.

So, when you do your questions, and you find your questions, always ask them open ended Lee, you don't want to be asking your questions that the experts only have to say yes or no, because a that's really boring. It doesn't spark any conversation and the interview is gonna sound really stilted and unnatural, and you really don't want that? You don't want a quick interview that, you know, someone just says yes or no. I mean, sometimes it depends on who your expert is. Some people, you know, just want to give yes or no answers. And they're not really the ideal experts to ask.

And in which case, if you get somebody like that, then you've probably just got to disregard that interview and find somebody else. Because listeners aren't going to want to listen to that they're not getting any value. They're not getting any answers just by having a yes or no answer in there. And then the idea is you want to start a conversation that would give a lot better training. You want the whole interview to basically sound like you just sat there with your friend having a chat. It's a lot better for people to listen to people can learn from it.

When I was doing my interviews. I mean, I knew a couple of the experts because I'd worked with them and I've met them personally at like seminars and things. So I had that personal connection and that really does come through in some of the interviews, but you really want to have that conversation and it's not just about asking the questions and getting the answers. It's about putting this whole thing together that's interesting for your listeners to learn from. And in order to do that, you need to have a conversation you need to make it really interesting and have sparks. It needs to have, you know, a bit of just general conversation in there and some laughter and you know, you just need to make it really fun for people to listen to, but having the value in there.

So that's module four. That's all talking about, you know what questions you need to ask. We're going to go on to module five in a moment.
