Okay, so before we dive into different types of meditation, I wanted to talk briefly about some of the major benefits you will receive in doing a daily meditation practice. Now I do state daily because the more you do it, the more consistent you are with it, the more benefits you're going to feel from your daily meditation practice. But of course, we're human. We have busy schedules, sometimes it's really tough to sit there and focus in on our breath for 15 minutes. Trust me, I get it, but just know the more you can put in time meditating, the better off you're going to be. So one of the major benefits is that it is a pain reducer and enhances the body's immune system on top of increased blood flow and slows down your heart rate which allows you to get into a nice relaxed state.
It reduces feelings of depression. depression and anxiety and anger and confusion and all those low vibrational not good feeling emotions, it does help break those up and reduce them. It provides a sense of calm and peace and balance into your life and it really helps you see the bigger picture. It also helps you reverse heart disease as well as helps control your thoughts. Now, I do want to state that Unfortunately, we can't stop our thoughts. We can't really control what comes in and out of our minds on a daily basis.
We have about 60 to 70,000 thoughts per day and that would be really hard to control but with meditation, it allows you to get into a different state of view. So you are the observer of your thoughts and not the victim of them. It also helps increase your Energy and reduces stretch. Stress skews me which obviously we all need.
